triplets · 19/10/2010 07:10

shabbadabbadingdong · 19/10/2010 08:39

that would be a waste of time Trips - selfish sod that he is Blush - he's the only one allowed to be ill in our house!!

shabbadabbadingdong · 19/10/2010 09:33

Bloody kids...sodding, selfish, ungrateful kids Angry

Tom wants to go to meet up with his holiday friends. They live in Halifax. Its about 35 miles drive from us. He wants to go on his own on the train - no chance whatsover!! So, I ask Dan - you know, the son who I babysit for, babysit upwards of 30 hours a week for, the one who doesn't even buy me a little treat every now and then - the one who I save £500 per month child minding fees - I ask him would he take Tom on Saturday and pick him up Sunday AND I WILL GIVE HIM THE FECKIN PETROL MONEY!!

'I cant Mum, I want to spend time with Emma and Lew..............grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - yes I totally understand that but I never, ever ask him for help of any kind.

Im so angry Im sat her with a face like this Angry

I am sure hell come round Shabs, very mean of him if he doesnt. Try not to upset yourself, but maybe as Rubester says don`t always be available yourself. Mean, as I know you, you rarely ask for help. ... xxx

shabbadabbadingdong · 19/10/2010 12:51

No Trips he wont change his mind. See the guilt I felt after his two little brothers died was overwhelming - I panicked about his future, how he would turn out emotionally. I did everything I could for him, helped him all the time and gave him every ounce of my attention.....wether that is a good thing to do or not...its too late to change that now.

Yes he has a posh mobile Grin

The main problem I have is that I have mollycoddled him beyond belief and he has never even been on the bus alone Blush I think Im going to take him there on the train and come back (the trains are every half hour) and then go and get him on Sunday. Wish I had learnt to drive now!!!

If he goes alone, I KNOW he will go to near the edge of the platform, I KNOW he will miss the train, I KNOW he will get beaten up and his mobile pinched and I REALLY KNOW FOR SURE the train will crash....I bloody hate that Gareth and Matty died....its OK saying how I have survived it and Im fine now but it has left me mentally challenged...left me doubting my every decision...I used to be a feisty strong young woman....OMG having another Shirley Valentine moment!!

Shabs........I fully understand, but how about taking him there and coming back, and let him come back on his own steam? How long is the train journey? You know what they are like at this age, its not "cool" to be collected by your Mum! For what its worth thats what I would do......... xx

shabbadabbadingdong · 19/10/2010 14:51

Its only 45 minutes on the train and I can go into Manchester and meet him off it....will depend how Saturdays trip goes. I am dithering about and so afraid - thats before I even think about the beautiful Paige Hmm She is almost 15 and looks about 18 - tall, blonde and beautiful - she better not get him pregnant Grin

triplets · 19/10/2010 15:03

He will be fine Shabs.......got to let go sometime. When we were away last week we kept telling the boys to wait for Rebecca, dont cycle off without her etc. Well on the last day they came back from the pool without her, said they couldnt see her so came back. We both flipped at them, then Harry said to me to go and find her. Well I didnt as there are 4 diff routes back, so chances are Id miss her, I said well give her 15 mins and then Ill go. Well within 10 mins she came back, God I was so relieved, but she did it on her own, good for her and it made me think that the boys mustn`t always have to look after her, its not fair. Mine have gone into Deal on their own on the bus but never further, I would now let them though if they were with others. Still panic though if they are a min late!!
