Guess what I did last night? I piggin' broke my toe. :( Unbe-flippin-lievable. I've been waiting for about six months (as advised by the physio) to do any real exercise or heavy moving, so I was all geared up for the older ones to go back to school today and maybe get outside more, and start on a big bedroom sort out - instead I'm back where I've been far too many weeks of the year already, sat on the couch!

I only walked into a door frame, can't believe it!

Morning girls.............up with the sparrows this morning, never seem to sleep past 6am these days, real pain as it makes a long day. Got to take Becca to town, her new Clark school shoes have rubbed her ankles. Bought them 2 weeks ago after a row as she wanted trendy cheapo Shoe Zone and I told her they were bad for her feet! Sun is shining, going to have an early bath and colour my hair, when I win the lottery the first thing I will do is pay my hairdresser to do it properly! Whats everyone up to today?

Im still in Greek time and walking at half the speed.

Trips - this year on holiday my boys weren't 'with' me. Usually I get lots of little events that let me know they are around. When I came home neither of them are 'in' in the house. I suppose some people will say it is progress but I cant bear the thought of not having them around.

Awwww Shabs, its not really progress cos I know you feel the same, maybe its them saying go be happy, have fun Mum you have waited all year and you deserve it, no sad thoughts about us. They are with you always,so olives and apple juice at 6pm?

I dont want to let go though Trips - I think both boys are with my friends daughter - Vicky. Since Vicky died my 'contact' with them has become less and less. I honestly used to feel matt around me so much that it felt like he was still here. I dont want to 'get over it' or 'feel better' not sure if I can face the rest of this life without feeling them around. LOL having read that last sentence I know that is crap - I WILL face the rest of this life - the alternative option is not great!!!

Im going to Chellesters relatives 25th wedding anniversary party tonight - so Im off to nurture my tan and paint my Elanore Rigby smile on.

I also made a big decision Trips while i was away - no more apple juice.....its not a good thing. It became my escape from everything after Matt - it is cheap, very strong and does the trick. I think for many years I have been alcohol dependent. I haven't had any for almost 3 weeks and have lost quite a bit of weight and do feel better. The ciggies????? Well that will have to wait for another day!

Blimey Shabs, well done! I can take or leave a drink, sometimes nothing all week then like last night a good half bottle of wine!Very much depends on the mood! My sil who smokes 30 a day, smoked for over 44 yrs, has just got a prescription for something called Champix? Take a tablet a day, then on day 8 or something you have to stop smoking, not sure how it works, but I will be amazed if she does. Anyway did you have a fab hol, was it as good as ever?

Trips our holiday was so very wonderful....we have done without for a year to go back. We ended up taking out a small loan to go back to Greece. I know it is crazy to borrow money to go on holiday but we HAD to go...we really, really had to go back. You know something? I am 54 next and DH is 57 - we have worked hard all our lives....contributed to the tax system etc....the harder we try the worse it seems to go. I am just sat at the computer thinking what a pile of shite life is!
