Morning girls - OMG it is verrrrry hot - managed at least 3 hours sleep last night and that is with air conditioning - not complaining though - have just watched the weather forecast for UK!!

what do you mean Shabs - bright sunshine here! Got my washing out, got the French windows open, all good!

Where as I am just putting up the storm shutters, canoe ready though can`t find my paddles, soup kitchen will be open here by 2pm!

Hi Rubester......welcome back, been abit lonely on here of late! Yep big scan tomorrow, almost at the end of the 6 months trial chemo, one cycle to go on the 8th. Poor sod its been bloody awful, awful for us all. So now we pray it has all been worth it, the team fron Kings come down on Thurs to look at the scan, if the are happy and there has been no further spread then the next stop is London for liver surgery, followed by lung surgery. Just on here trying to look for a few nights away before the kids go back to school, no luck so far! Looking for my hot tub!

Have you heard about my retreat? Converting kids play shed to my shabby chic summer palace:)

All of you with time to spare please find me a 5* cottage or lodge, 4 hours drive from Kent,hot tub, butler, masseur, cook, and nr M&S for choccy nuts:o

Been for a walk down the infamous Bar Street - been to see Nikos, the beautiful one, hard at work at PJs club (well eyeing up every female who walks past) had a couple of drinks with him and have come back to the hotel 0h my dear Gawd it is still 90 degrees - ROFL however my sweaty moustache is well under control!! xxx

Did the other side, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby & Bridlington, visited family and had a lovely time - now back to the very raining south west!!

Well todays the day, should get a call from the hosp teatime to let us know the scan result after 6 months bloody awful chemo and stress, have really no idea this time which way its going to go, had built my hopes up last time only for the worse news poss. Can anyone tell me where it isn`t raining, where theres sunshine?
