ok - so not really a twin question but....
does anyone else have twins with tiny feet?

my 20 month old twins are so small their feet are only size 2 1/2
even clarks can only sell us crawler shoes

i really want to buy them some wellies to go walking in - but can't find any in their size!

any ideas would be welcome!!!

thanx

start at size 3

also start size 2 (19)

I would think a 3 would be ok maybe with thicker socks.

Tortoise · 27/02/2010 21:47

That should say size 3 on the 2nd link!

cookielove · 27/02/2010 21:49

expensive but cute and do size 2-3

Tortoise · 27/02/2010 21:49

cookielove · 27/02/2010 21:52

hi, sorry no advice as my twins have tiny feet too! they are 18 months and one is size 2 and the other is less than a size 1! we bought their first shoes a couple of weeks ago from an independent childrens shoe shop as clarks were useless. the shop had some hush puppies walking shoes in size 2 which the bigger twin has, but we had to get some pre-walker start-rite shoes in size 2 for the smaller twin as no-one does size 1! but they are well padded and seem to be ok. hope you find some wellies!

Hi - I have twins on the way but my 2 singleton children have tiny feet. My son was walking when he was a size 2 and my daughter at 1 1/2! Clarkes were useless - even now we can't get shoes for them because their narrowest width fitting is an 'F' and my son is an 'E' and my daughter a 'D'. We always buy their shoes from independant shoe shops that specialise in European brands. My son started in Pepino from Ricosta and my daughter actually started in pre-walkers from Kickers. They were a size 17 (but a very small 17) and were solid enough to be like proper shoes. She is now almost always in Agatha Ruiz De La Prada shoes - they are a Spanish brand and the most adorable shoes I have ever come across. (esp if you don't always want the standard pink, sparkly or black patent!)

oops - meant to say I can also recommend Primigi, Petasil, SureFit & Aster. They're not cheap (the last pair of Asters I bought for my son were £55) but my kids have really slow growing feet so we only replace shoes to get the right ones for the season! (my son is still wearing the kickers we bought him last August and they have plenty of room in them!) As for wellies - I managed to get my daughter some snow-boots from Muddy Puddles online which were size 18-19. With thick socks and the fur lining them she was OK in them.

Try Startrite, they do cruising shoes from size 2 which had to do for our boys although really could have done with them in size 1's for cruising moving into walking shoes at size 2. They are sturdy enough to cope with the early walking.
