Hi everyone,
I'm 17 weeks preggo with twins, already have a two year old, and was just wondering if anyone else has experienced really really sore upper inner thighs? It's like where your legs join into your body. They ache like crazy, make me walk funny, and are really quite restricting my physical activity. I feel like my legs could pop out of their sockets. I didn't have any problems in my first pregnancy, and to be honest am pretty worried that I'm already this sore and have a looooong ol' way to go.
Anyone else get this?
Thanks! x

Hi, I am 26 weeks with twins - first pregnancy - and had horrific lower back and pelvic pain from about 17-21 weeks but it has miraculously eased off now. Just thought that might reassure you a bit!

It sounds a bit like SPD. I got it at 18 weeks and it was so bad I couldn't walk without taking codeine.

After getting nothing but sympathetic noises from midwife I went to my consultant appointment in tears with DD in tow and told her I needed help there and then and that I can't cope.

She got me emergency appointments with the obstetric physio which actually cured it until about 30 weeks when I became to big to have the physio.

When it is really bad I use crutches to get about but tbh I don't really do much now (33 wks) so it's not as painful.

Thanks both for your responses. It's not got any worse so hopefully it'll be ok, and I'll feel fine in a couple of weeks like Absplus2!!
