POLL - purely for my own curiosity - are most multiples born by C-section or vaginally?

I've never ventured on the Multiples threads, having only one, but have been pondering this for a while now and don't know enough mums of multiples to ask in RL.

BTW (in view of current happenings), I am not a journo, troll, or the like. Simply a very curious soul re anything to to do with pregnancy, birth, babies, etc.

To add to the question - if your multiples were born by C-section, what were the circumstances that led to this decision? (Early labour, presentation, etc.)

Hi all, my first post on Multiples thread after lurking for ages.
My fraternal twins were born at 38 weeks via planned C-section - the first one was breech and was not going to shift! 38 weeks was the maximum "cooking" time that my obstetrician recommended. Would have liked to try for a vaginal birth otherwise.

Non ID girls born at 38+1 by planned section. Despite being both head down at 34 weeks, at 36 they were both breech...

B/G born at 38 + 5 by CS. Was classed as 'elective' but seeing as my son was still moving around and my daughter had been breech for nearly three months, not sure how else they thought they were coming out!

Hi, I've only been on here once before and am keen to make it a more regular thing so this seemed a good place to start!

Mine were born by emergency c-section at 30 weeks, after managing to hold on to them from a threatened early & labour & emergency dash to a hospital at 25 weeks 60 miles away as my own hospital SCBU wasn't taking 'under 26 weekers.'

Scary stuff. They are now 4 yrs old!

triplets by section as consultant felt it the safest option. he felt twins could go vaginally but too risky for the third triplet.
