I don't normally post on this section but my sister has just found out that she is having twins (which is incredible as there is no history of twins ever in either family). She is due in September so she will have 3 kids under 16 months (crazy I know).
I am buying going to buy her pram for her.
What would you recommend?????
Thanks

they are mega expensive but mountain buggy. babies can go side by side and the toddler can sit on the front, that's what my 3 do and it's bloody brilliant
3 under 16 months is some feat

Well the first wasnt planned (1st date with guy and my sister being the classy thing that she is slept with him and got pregnant. They have stuck it out and are together still) and the 2nd wasnt either.
I swear I am going to give her condoms for a present.

I have 15 months and 3 days between my son and my twins! I have a double mclaren - just fits thru most doorways - and one twin in a carrier. Hoping that by the time DT is too big to carry DS will go on buggy board or walk. Otherwise I may have to get a foldaway seat for the side.

www.abcbuggy.co.nz sell direct to UK. Either twin with on top, or single with twin on top. Ours arrived last month, and cost us around £700.

I have a second hand Jane power twin pro, put the toddler in it carry one twin in sling. Kari me very good here

It's narrow, fits through doors and can get past cars parked on the pavement most of the time if not it leaves a wonderfully nasty scratch, (I feel no shame!)

I'd suggest double buggy and sling combo. It worked quite well for me when I was in similar situation last year. ds3 (1) was born a few days after dts (2) were 15mths, also have ds1 (6) and dd1 (4) .

I have to say in her situation I would probably choose to carry the older one and keep the dts in the buggy, that way if she goes to the park etc she can play around with the older one without disturbing (hopefully sleeping) dts.

Tell her to rest as much as possible, not so easy with a toddler I know and as time gets closer to stock her freezer with as many cooked meals as possible so she can still eat well in the early days. If she wants to breastfeed them it's not that hard even with a toddler around to entertain. Oh and get her on MN and to join the multiples thread where she'll find quite a few of us in a similar situation.

My twins were 15 months when I had dd. I had the Nipper double and dd in a sling for 6 months then 1 of the twins went on the buggy board. Worked really well.
