CHUFFED TO BITS MUM ALERT...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Im so pleased for Tom! It has took him from last September to find a proper friend at High School. He says the boys all act tough and dont try in class and the girls are screaming, shouting nutters

Last night he invited his new friend Jack to come round to our house. They both love computers, Pokemon, and are in the same classes for everything. Jack is lovely. So polite and a little charmer. When his mum came to pick him up I realised where he gets his personality from.

She 'actually loves him and cares about his welfare and how he is doing at school' believe me that is a rare breed of Mum at the borstal high school that Tom goes to.

We had a good gab and I told her all about my sons - including Matt and Gareth I dont do that very often with people I have just met.

The difference in Tom is amazing. Jack said last night 'Tom, us nerds need to stick together' and they both roared laughing.

I know what you mean Rubester - but our children will always need us - always - and it is just great to see them 'making their way in the world.' Come here and give us a love

  1. How do I stop him from having a paddy?
  2. Please help he wont have a nap!
  3. How do I protect the hamster?
  4. Is he really OK to eat a meat and potato pie?
  5. I need a wee but cannot escape - please help!

He's a bit better.......not up the wall with it anymore, managed a little yoghurt, still says its sore and he isn't doing anything but lying on the couch with a blanket. Will keep all my eyes on him.......

Oh Ruby I'm upset to hear about your blonde highlights.........yesterday morning I had blonde highlights........then I came out the hairdresser at lunchtime a brunette!!!! I am IN SHOCK. Everyone keeps being polite but I think everyone hates it. And I think I hate it. Feel ridiculous. Feel like I have a big arrow above my head with "LOOK HERE, I FEEL DAFT" on it.

I've had blonde highlights for ages and ages and I just felt I was getting much more blonde than I wanted. Hairdresser lowered the tone a couple of times but it still wasn't right. He said I should just be brave and go for it. But I don't feel right at all

Good luck with MIL!!!! [empathy]

Hi................FG hope your little one is feeling better, I actually woke up this morning with no soreness in my right side, now its back again! I actually went to my friend Dawns last night for a couple of hour, two glasses of wine and felt ok, yesterday morning I thought I had had a stroke, my speech was all funny, couldn`t get out what I wanted to say, went to bed for 2 hours before the kids came home and felt much better, can it all be stress, am I underating it? Wish I was nearer Shabs, I would adore to come round and play with Lewis, do you have a playpen or travel cot? I used to stick mine in one if I needed the loo or I had to answer the door etc, got plenty of plasters in? Arnica is great for bruising, and you rest when he does!

galaxymummy · 26/02/2009 15:23
