How do I separate them?

My twin boys aged 6 are lovely on their own and a nightmare when together. They are attracted to each other like magnets and it is like being hit by a train when I pick them up from school. My DH is better at getting them to separate but I have more trouble. As they get older will they realise it is ok to be apart occasionally? They separate fine when they are at school.

I too have very lively twin boys. I think it must be the "nature of the beast".I would welcome any strategies also on how to deal with things as they often get out of hand very quickly.

Obviously everyone elses twins on here behave perfectly.
