Hi there mummies
I have a friend about to have twins and I would like to get her a twin baby sling so she can have some hands free time (!!??). I've seen someone wearing one but have not been able to find them in the shops - can anyone help??
Thanks x

hiya - have a look at this page or here

What a nice friend you are!

lulururu · 09/12/2008 21:41

or "look at this page right at the bottom

or just buy two of these www.kari-me.com/index.php

i just wore 2 slings at the same time, to start with one over each boob basically, then one on each hip then one front and back

good luck

I have one of these for sale........

www.weego.com/en/produkte/weego_twin.php

It's in "as new" condition with carry bag and instructions.

I'd like around £50 for it.

moptop · 09/12/2008 21:58

Sorry, my link didn't work. It's the weego twin carrier which pophas2boybeans has done a link to!

thisisyesterday · 09/12/2008 22:00

threekids, get her a moby, she can wear them both in the same sling for a fair while

Ewemoo · 09/12/2008 22:12

Moptop - I would be interested in buying the sling. Is it the weego twin sling? £50 sounds v reasonable if it is in as new condition?

GettingBiggerBird · 10/12/2008 09:05

Moptop - I'd be interested too if for some reason Ewemoo doesn't take it. You can CAT me. Thanks

Hi there, I have a twin one for sale too. It was bought in the states so I don't have a link. It comes with video instructions (which does work on uk players!) and you can wear it on your back or front or one one each or separate it out so that you wear one and hubby wears the other. It is navy blue fabric and quite snuggly. I can email pics if interested. £45 anyone?

threekidsareyoumad · 10/12/2008 12:29

Thanks everyone - Teasleep could you email pics to [email protected] ?
Thanks x

Sorry to hijack this very tense bidding war(!) but just wanted to say 'hi' to Moptop who I've been trying to track down for ages!!
Hope you're ok and would be great to hear how you're getting on.

Can I ask those of you who've used them what the affect if any was on your back? Can imagine 2 newborns but not carrying 2 x 5 month olds. However, found a sling invaluable with DD1 and would love to know how viable you all found them.

lulururu · 16/12/2008 22:22

hiya magnum mum - i slung both at the same time til they were about 8 months then it just got too tangled and difficult to negotiate them into the karime slings. now if i have to take them a short distance and the buggy won't fit (like up stairs or something like that) i'll sling one and carry the other one on my hip - they're 13months now. i've seen one mum of toddler twins with two of those frame backpacks - one on the front and one on the back and these twins looked about 4!!!!

moptop · 06/04/2009 22:46

I've still got a Weego for sale if anyone's interested......

breadandroses · 08/04/2009 13:33

I have never managed to sling both in one wrap since they were both tiny enough to fit on my front, but slinging twins is easiest with one in a ssc (I like patapum) on your back, and the other in a woven wrap or pashmina on your front or hip. If anyone has an ingenious way to carry both on your back, I'd love to know!

Raffyx · 24/04/2009 07:05

Hi if you're still selling the weego can you let me know - thanks
