We had to go to the shop this morning - tom and Katie were in another aisle. I sneaked a listen to there conversation and it went like this

Tom: Samba band was ace last night Katie [loving stare emoticon]

Katie: So pleased you liked it Tom

Tom: I really liked you errrrrr I really liked the band

Katie: I will call for you on Monday night as well if you want.

Tom: That would be just.....ace [DOH emoticon]

Do you reckon he likes older women because of his aged parents?

How sweet Shabs, i don't want to be there again though. Can you remember the angst and the 'do i fit in?' god it was hell.

FG what a great thing to do, it must be very hard to write though. Memories come flooding back i bet. How is the river talk going?

I am super pissed off with my parents atm and may start a thread. Not sure what it would achieve though

On a plus note dh is home and i sold the chickens last night. So am no longer a chicken keeper, couldnt look after them and all the children when he is away. I will miss them and have to buy eggs again fgs!

OMG I can remember those awful doubts. Tommy is almost as tall as me (4ft 11in) but is shorter than most of the kids in his year. His height bothers him more than anything - even though I keep pointing out that older brother is almost 6ft tall. In the classroom he shines - but that could be another minus point with other kids calling him swot, teachers pet etc etc.

I have worried more about Tom than I ever did about Dan. Maybe because I am much older, more experienced in horrible real life stuff, and he is my lastborn.

Not too bad Rubester - having a few 'menopausal moments' today!

Feel bit low - this may sound very stupid but High school has knocked ME for six. I have found it very stressful - although Tom is only 5 mins walk up the hill from our house it feels like he lives in another country. I spend all day thinking 'please look after him, keep him safe, dont let anybody be horrible to him' Not sure who I am even talking to - I think Im mentally unwell

It's been a strange 12 months!

My mum and dad said they were picking Tom up from school last night and taking him to theres for his tea.

I told him in the morning but he forgot....he walked home by himself and crossed that awful busy road by himself. He came running in the door, hot and bothered, and breaking his heart. 'I forgot mum, I forgot, Gran will be thinking I am stupid. Oh mum I want to go to Grans.'

I phoned school and asked them could they let my mum know if possible. Ten minutes later they went out to look for her. By this time she was in tears (she always thinks the worst after Matts accident.) She was so upset that they drove home and didn't collect him from ours!!! It was an awful night.

Maybe thats why I feel weird today.

Morning girls...................fell asleep at 9.30pm last night all caught up with me, feeling alot better this morning. H just cycled off to chemo, cycled! Fingers all x`d its his last one for a while, he has truly had enough.

Have son now in Heaven born in 1978
10 yr old triplets, girl/boy/boy
Stay at home Mum who bakes and makes soup and in fact cos she is on here and shouldn`t be has just actually burnt it
Love to travel esp America, and read
Have fantastic friends on here

how could I forget the most important thing! If you ever need to get round me, I have a passion for chocolate covered nuts, esp M&S ones

It was horrible Rubester - but 'today is another day' and all those other stupid sayings

Morning trips - PMSL that H has gone on his bike.....that is a classic. Hope the day goes OK for him (and you.) xxxx

Poor Tomster These things happen. Becca is going to be in a right mood with me when she gets home. She left her lunch bag in the car, only just seen it, so have phoned school and asked them to give her school dinner which she hates! Now H has just phoned up to say the chemo unit haven`t as yet turned up, his appt was 10am, which means he is not going to be back in time for school, grrrrrrr!

See Shabs,this is why the Tomster needs his Mrs Robinson back,instead of these young whipper snappers LOL I would have picked up my handsome young date from the school gates

Horrible Shabs I remember seeing little Mo's face when she couldn't see me in the crowd,she thought no one had come to pick her up even for that split second it broke my heart!!!!!!

It was a GOOD day!!! Tom crossed that horrible road and came to no harm!!!! Worst fears squashed my friend!!!.x.x.

Mars was at a birth earlier today, not sure how it's going but she'll be on when she can.
