triplets, you sound so much brighter. I can see it in your type! Glad for you xxx.

Now.......remember long ago, I posted on here about my lost glass of wine. I posted a message and then went to read DD1 a bedtime chapter. Came back to post and couldn't find my glass. Searched HIGH and LOW all damn night (it was the last glass of the last bottle and had no gin, nothing else at all in the house that would take me to the numbing state ) Well, I found it two days later on the top shelf inside her wardrobe. I must have put it there when I hung up her dressing gown. So.....my favourite hiding places are tops of wardrobes or high up shelves within wardrobes. I reckon you've put them in your room. Somewhere private they wouldn't go. Underwear drawer? Where do you keep Christmas presents?

Shabs, thats great news about Tomboy and school. Is he still keen to learn guitar?

I have stripped all the beds and I am at the point where I have made the whole house a pit and need to make it ok. I haven't showered yet (tend to shower after the school/nursery run when I've had my sweaty walk). I need to work miracles in the next hour. Where's all the bloody wands when you need one?

Right. Soup done....I'm off

p.s. did I tell you my DT2 would melt the heart of an iron man? He often comes out with poetic warblings and today he came runnin with the yellow ball the nursery hamster goes in (we had it home for the weekend) saying "mama, I'm bringing you the sunshine" then grabbed my neck so hard I fell over and kissed me. So proud of himself.

frumpygrumpy · 03/09/2008 13:27

HM, bugger the illness!!!! Shame. Feeling better? I suspect you are running too much.

frumpygrumpy · 03/09/2008 13:29

Ruby, meant to thank you for the words xxxxxx. A great, straightforward, honest chat. Ta hen.

aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh (T&T), your chair is always saved doll. Sorry things have been up and down, (I swear I'm not going to say you have your hands full) and I hope it all settles a bit soon xxx.

HarrogateMum · 03/09/2008 13:35

hmmmm FG not sure that I am running too much, only go 3 times a week? Although I did go on Sunday when I was feeling crap so that might have been the nail in the coffin.

Funny you mention putting wine in high places - I always leave mine on tops of high shelves and then have to hunt round the house for it too! Although have been wine-less for the last few days of course due to illness....

frumpygrumpy · 03/09/2008 13:38

3 TIMES A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THATS IMMENSELY FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"This is Big Brother, please leave the house immediately, YOU HAVE BEEN EVICTED!!!!!!!"

triplets · 03/09/2008 17:44

Girls.....save me....fe;t wonderful this morning then this afternoon I was rushing round the corner with a steak pie in my hands and I felt useless, legs and arms all weak and just felt very ill and unfit! Struggling atm to make supper, what dy think it is? Prob need to join HM 3 xs a week! Feel really yuk, better be ok tomorrow as I so want to go to see my brother, though now have to struggle with my Mum as well! Blardy nuisance!

MERLYPUSS · 03/09/2008 19:37

TRiPS - I think you need chocolate. Seriously have you eaten enough sugary stuff today. I know if I dont I go all wibbly-wobbly. Hope you feel better soon. Prob'ly coz you are putting too much stress on yourself and putting everyone else first.

iamdingdong · 03/09/2008 19:45

frumpygrumpy · 03/09/2008 20:19

trips, i second the food thing? Are you eating regularly, enough, well?

oooggs · 03/09/2008 20:49

ds1 starts reception tomorrow as well dingdong

reception is after preschool here (ds1 is 5 in december)

iamdingdong · 03/09/2008 20:55

oh good luck to little oooggs I get to go to work late and come home at midday as they are on half days this week, so I'll report back tomorrow

FG posted on your diet thread

oooggs · 03/09/2008 20:57

T&T - great to see you

Pixi - I should have popped by - maybe I will pop up soon and visit (if you'll have me us!)

have read through but didn't retain much - hope everyone is well

oooggs · 03/09/2008 20:59

thanks dingdong - he is full days straight away

dts will be at nursery and dh and I are going to the 20 week scan at 11 am - its all go go go

iamdingdong · 03/09/2008 21:02

I wish we were full days straight away - its 2 days of 12.00 finish, then 3 days of 1.15 finish to get them used to lunch, then full days it is a PITA to organise around work tbh. Hope the scan goes well!

oooggs · 03/09/2008 21:04

what a performance especially as they have been at nursery (I think)

will let you know about the scan - hope the morning goes well for them - as I was sewing labels tonight was only think that it will be twice as much sewing when dts start

iamdingdong · 03/09/2008 21:09

yes, they are used to 7.30 to 5 at nursery, so I don't think 8.55 to 3.15 is going to stress them too much!

oooggs · 03/09/2008 21:10

exactly and they have a ready made friend

tkband3 · 03/09/2008 21:15

Helloooooo!!!! It's just taken me most of today to catch up on what's been going on while I've been on holiday (2 weeks in Britanny - got back v late last night...lovely, lovely, lovely holiday). I'm sure I've forgotten lots but...

Huge congrats to Momma and Papa. How's wedded bliss treating you then? . (DH lost his wedding ring on holiday - it just slipped off while he was swimming in the sea (yes it was that cold!) He did suggest that I throw mine in as well, so they could be together and then we'd both have new ones, but I just couldn't bring myself to throw away £300 odd, even if it was the most romantic thing he's suggested in a long while!).

FG, so sorry to hear about your first love. I would be exactly the same. I have kept all his letters and cards etc and look at them every so often and get nostalgic.

Shabs, glad to hear about Beth, hope she is doing well at home. Hope Tom's still enjoying school.

Will be thinking of all those starting reception tomorrow - DD1 goes into Year 1 and is v. excited. DTs start at the nursery at her school in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime are doing a few extra days at their old pre-school - I've enjoyed the summer holidays, but it is time to get them all back to school .

Unfortunately something I ate at lunchtime (salad ) has given me a dodgy tummy and I am feeling fed up and sorry for myself so I'm off to bed.

Night night!

piximon · 03/09/2008 21:20

oooggs you are welcome anytime. I'm moving again mid Oct (bit out of Exeter, opp direction to you). Would be great to meet you all.

oooggs · 03/09/2008 21:29

Hellooooooo!!!!!!

Momma this time last year I was makin' DTs with MrPazza!!!! woo ha ha

Now, MrPazza is asleep on sofa, I am about to give DTs last feed, sex life is dead as dodo as fanjo stopped working a couple of months back - sorry, TMI!

Had fab holiday with girls last week, mum and SIL were brilliant, didnt argue once, mum took girls out for a walk when they started crying or whenever I needed a break/sleep/window-shopping spree ... she'd even say "oh they were fine, slept the whole time, they've only just woken up" even when I could see they had little red blotchy eyes from crying! aah bless her...

must go I have 3 DT-PG laydeez coming round for tea and cakes tomorrow!!!

kisses to all xx

PazzaPlusTwo · 03/09/2008 23:21

oh sh!t! help! - one of the dt-pg-laydeez has gestational diabetes, what can i get her for a treat so she doesnt have to cry watching us all caning the hi-sugar stuff??!

MarsLady · 03/09/2008 23:49

No fruit juice and be careful of the fruit you give her.

Other than that I can't really help being a sugar fiend myself!

Hope you got my text.

Momma sending one to you to from my personal rather than work phone (which is the number you have).
