Morning girls xx

Morning! Right, DS1 gone to school (Y11) in his new suit Will try to remember to upload a photo. DD2 gone to school Y6 minus school fleece and raincoat - clearly starting as she means to go on. DD2 at home pretending to get her stuff together for tomorrow. I sent the DTs back to playgroup for today and tomorrow as they would go stir crazy with another rainy day at home, plus I've got lots to do.

I can feel the peace stealing over my house already.

Hello all, haven't posted on here for AGES but wanted to pop in and say hi. Also, what do I do with 12-month old (early 13 months now actually) twin boys on a miserable wet Tuesday? Undying gratitude for any ideas!

piximon · 02/09/2008 10:34

Sorry Trips, they're quite an accommodating hotel so I thought they might have let you use a ready bed or such for one of the dts. Also with schools going back I thought the rate may have dropped. If I were still in London I'd have gladly put you all up for the weekend.

Oh girls....my lastborn is in the borstal high school as we speak!!

The house is soooooooooooooo quiet, I can get onto the computer.

He wanted both me and dad to walk up with him, was quite proud of the fact to be honest!! He met the teachers at the gate and did the long walk through the playground and never, ever looked back

By next week he will have an attitude, not want to get a wash, have ruined all his white school shirts, have a girlfriend etc etc. Should enjoy this time while I can

shabster · 02/09/2008 11:36

I had a good day today. My volunteer helper came over and dragged me we went to the play cafe in the city. I was dubious about all 5 being there at once but it was fine, actually it was great. DS1 was really well behaved, even when one of the other boys who'd made all the other boys cry decided it was DS1's turn for some action. The dts pottered around tidying up all the balls while dd1 conquered her fears and took to diving into the balls (while still avoiding the slide of terror).
Then dcs had cake in the cathedral park and we came home.

Tomorrow DS1 is back to school. I'll miss having the best part of him instead to be replaced with tired grumpy 5yr old at three o'clock.

Momma, thank you so much for your offer. I think we'll be ok though. My dad will be here to look after dd1. I'll take dt1 with me, not sure she's ready to be left and no idea how long it would take her to settle.

VaginaShmergina · 02/09/2008 21:26

Me too

Would you like to publicly declare here and now you got Rex wrong so I dont have to rib you for the rest of your life about your poor judge of character

shabster · 02/09/2008 21:29

Rib away me darling!!!! If they put me in a room with 100 blokes I would pick out the murderer and fall madly in love with him on the spot.

triplets · 02/09/2008 21:30

Gawd, how dy get 10yr old boys to be quiet? Supposed to have gone up early for school tomorrow but they are as bad as ever! James has to go back the hospital after school tomorrow to get his eye checked, doesnt seem to bad, he has a patch to wear and drops, they said it might need checking by an eye specialist over at the William Harvey where H goes, sick of that place already. He has had 2 apts thru today, a CT scan on the 2nd Oct and those results on the 9th with the boss lady..................not me you understand, the oncologist
Brother number 2 has been to see brother no 1 in hospital and he is ok, sat up and eating! He was in alot of pain this morning so they took him for an x-ray and found that his left lung had collapsed! So they have sorted that this pm and he is much better, so that is brilliant.
Godmother had her op yesterday too and is also doing fine, though they are keeping quiet about what they found and did.
I am feeling alot better on the b/blockers and its only day 2, will pass them round later
Well done to Tomster......umpah!
