Sorry to love you and leave you girls...I am knackered. Caused by pushing two many pineapples up to many trees!!!

See you in the morning me darlings. xxx

PazzaPlusTwo · 22/08/2008 00:38

ooh shabs that sounds dead good

i thin kit is really hard for the dads. I have finished FG's book there is a great chapter on how dads react / are affected by PND, it really opened my eyes and made me able to talk to DH about it where previously I hadnt. (He is a rock in so many ways bless him, but has a sympathy bypass sometimes when he can't understand the emotional stuff and he wants to solve the problem (man+German+engineer! ) and I just need a big bear hug and someone to wipe the tears off and tickle me under the chin till I laugh)

it must be veyr hard too for oyu, to sit by and watch this happening, i feel for you. but it sounds like things are getting better which is fantastic.

anyway the book is great if you want me to send it I can (but am off on hols for a week from Sat early!)

PazzaPlusTwo · 22/08/2008 00:45

shabs i agree, i also needed DH to take the helm for a bit, i felt sooo frazzled. I asked him to send me to bed at 9pm every evening (by any means necessary) to see if things improved by my getting proper sleep, which they did.

it's had for blokes isnt it when theyre trying to be all 21st century new man and dont want to put a foot wrong!!

really glad you got to see Lew

just found 1/4 bag of fruit bonbons in the shelf, RESULT!!! (the ones with Pascall on them!!! my name, almost )

PazzaPlusTwo · 22/08/2008 00:55

hmmm ... no-one around? looks like the fruit bonbons are all mine then!

nighty night x

Momma how could I have missed your big news yesterday

Oh Momma, so very very happy for you, hope your day was wonderful, a long and happy lifetime together xxx

Shabs, fantastic news about Beth, prayers do get answered sometimes, just wonderful.

We had visitors yesterday, then oncologist in the afternoon, all went ok.

Then came home and thought I was going to have a panic attack or heart attack, took a diazapam and had 3/4 bottle of wine!

Up at 5am today still feeling panicky. so a cup of tea and another diazapam and on here to catch up, just feel awful, but still wonder if the panicky feelings are part of the menopause which I I am not sure if I`ve had one with my history, but woke again at 5am wet through and just felt odd.Need a holiday. Speak to you all when you get up!

shabster · 22/08/2008 06:59

Morning girls.

Morning Trips - that sounds very menopausal to me I have been awake since 5.30am think I need to increase the dose of the beta blockers I take cause I am having panick attacks in my sleep!!

I also have a rather fetching mozzy bite on my bossom - I am trying not to itch and frantically searching through the suitcase for the Greek mozzy bite stuff!!

shabster · 22/08/2008 07:04

Trips - did you get your email with Lewis' picture attached?

Have put the picture on my profile as well.

Cant believe how much better Em is with these new AD's - think I will get her to give me some

threeinthreeyears · 22/08/2008 07:39

Hi people who don't know who I am. Came into the fray for the first time last night, see above. You are obvioulsy a close group so might take me a while to catch up. Just wanted to say hi though and see if there was anyone out there, though will be brief as DH about to steal computer to take to work. By the way he is very suspicious thinks I am being "groomed"!.

shabster · 22/08/2008 07:49

Hiya three - all you have to remember is that whatever this lot say about me, unless it is good, is just rubbish

I dont drink, or smoke, or perv at younger men. I really dont like Robbie Williams or Marti Pellow. I used to be a nun.

And I found the toilet duck one..............

By MarsLady on Mon 14-Aug-06 21:41:47

Once upon a bedtime two angelic creatures clasped their milk and said night night.

Their gorgeous mother kissed them and closed the door and went downstairs where she proceeded to clean the kitchen and use MN.

The aforementioned gorgeous mother sent her DD1 to bed. She had stayed up late with permission and because gorgeous mother was on MN and couldn't be arsed to send her before.

A great cry came from upstairs. DD1 was sobbing uncontrollably. The angelic creatures had become candidates for adoption and/or military school. They had broken into the toilet and taken a bottle of toilet duck. They somehow managed to open said bottle and pour the contents all over DD1's bed and carpet. It was clear to gorgeous mother that they had been rolling in it. Their bodies were a pale shade of green. She sniffed their mouths and was reasonably convinced that they hadn't drunk any.

Gorgeous mother was last seen distributing leaflets along the road which said..........

"Darling Twins need new home. Gorgeous boy with chocolate drop eyes and gorgeous girl with same. Beautiful long curls. Love most foods and toilet duck. Please collect immediately!"

frumpygrumpy · 22/08/2008 10:34

OOOpps, popped that on the wrong thread!!!!! There you go!

frumpygrumpy · 22/08/2008 10:44

Hi 3in3

Shabs did indeed used to be a nun.

frumpygrumpy · 22/08/2008 10:47

Trips, it could be menopause (because you need that like a hole in the head!)...... Do you have a good doctor? One you like? You really could do with getting all of this out and getting some more support. I feel you are dealing with a little too much atm.

Ooogs, thats swearing!

Where the hell is Momma? Don't tell me she is wrapped up in post-coital bliss having consumated this marriage lark? Or perhaps she is still in her housecoat and rollers with a fag hanging on her bottom lip. She is married now..........

frumpygrumpy · 22/08/2008 10:54

don't tell anyone. I haven't been paying due care and attention and I don't reckon there is going to be a roundup again this week.

MarsLady · 22/08/2008 11:00

She's reading a doula article that I wrote about postnatal work with mums that have twins. I've attached that lovely photo of you breastfeeding your DTs. She's very proud of you! I have not shown her the pictures of you with the fireman and those earrings!
