Oh Trips - my lovely 'stepping stones' compassionate friend.

Dont know what the answers are to any of your worries. Frumpster talks loads of sense. I am a great fan of writing letters to people I love.

Just wanted you to know I am with you in spirit and hope things soon improve for you and yours.

Kale Nits honey and sagapo xxxxx

Morning girls - everybody happy?

frumpygrumpy · 20/08/2008 09:53

Morning Shabs! Nae too bad. Its peeing with rain, my house looks like a bomb has hit it in four directions and DD1 goes back to school tomorrow. I hate getting up at 6.30am I'm NOT a morning person. I'd like to spend the day making soup and doing odds and ends with DD1 but, as ever, by the time I have waded through the mountain of house there usually is only a teeny bit of time left. I'm working on changing that.

I have some work things coming up with DP and I feel like such a fat bloater. I haven't walked at all over the holidays and I've eaten anything that came my way. I get a bit nervous doing working things with him. [nervous/self centred/zero confidence moo bag]

On the plus side....did I mention I'm going to see Paolo Nutini a week today

Momma, I am getting your drift I think. I suspect you don't want us all mentioning 'it' too much. I won't. I'll just say that I think you are adorable and I'll be sending you my best wishes from Scotland......

"May the best you've ever seen be the worst you'll ever see
May a moose ner leave yer girnal wi a tear drap in his 'ee
May ye aye keep hale and herty til yer auld enough tae dee
May ye aye be juist as happy as I wish ye aye tae be"

Thumping luck and fat weans

Have we had to evacuate the site? Where is everyone, kids being home is no excuse girls
Well how is my day? Well, Beccas neck is much better though the rash isnt, but it does not seem infectious, I am sure one of the boys would be getting it by now if it was, shes had it for 5 days and isnt at all poorly with it. So, all three are out at a party from 2-7pm!! Dh spent all morning in bed feeling terrible, then got up at lunctime, had a fair size lunch and has gone off to the allotment. I am on here having a well deserved break, instead of being out doing something nice I have cleaned my range cooker, just finished, 6 brillos and no nails left! Also got some good news this morning, I got a phone call from St Thomass to say they have brought my brothers surgery forward to the 1st Sept, a huge worry off of my mind! He is not that pleased though!
So now its only just gone 3pm, what shall I do for the next 4 hours?

frumpygrumpy · 20/08/2008 16:10

SIT ON YOUR BUM DEAR!!! Slob out with telly and a book for a whole hour! Then potter if you really must

frumpygrumpy · 20/08/2008 16:11

.........said the Queen of doing 'stuff' 18hours a day.............

charleymouse · 20/08/2008 16:14

chill trips dear, chill. Ooh a nice soaky bath is a good idea when you have peace and quiet and maybe some candles and a glass of somthing nice with a trashy book/magazine.

Best dash as you only have 3 hours left.

Wishing you and your DP soon to be dh the very best for tomorrow, hope the weather shines in the South West and that you have the day of your lives - it goes very quick (shame sleepless nights don't )

can't wait to see the pics

trips - I have no suggestions and I think I have problems with the dts 'talking' to each other when they are supposed to be asleep!

frumpy - lots of sense & good luck with the early mornings - I'm going to need a new routine to get ds1 to school (OMG my baby is going to school in 2 weeks)

ruby - great suggestions there

charley - like the idea of the bath and something nice to drink too - hope trips put that one into action straight away

you ok tiggs?
