It's not looking good Hoochie, is it ?

My DS was 10 months ! They are still so small to be walking. My DD was 18 months before she was walking but talking from 9 months. Could have a proper convo with her by the time she was 2. She has not stopped talking since.

I have no idea where she gets that from

oooggs · 21/06/2008 19:59

oh dear momma my dt2 was walking at 10 mths - it won't be long

Vaggy leaves rest of bottle for Hoochie, your'e gonna need it

tkband3 · 21/06/2008 21:17

Oh dear Momma. DD1 didn't even crawl till she was 11 months !! I was horrified when the DTs were rolling all over the place at 7 months, but they were quite good to me after that and didn't walk till 14/15 months. But like Vaggy's DD, DD1 said her first word at 6/7 months and was chatting in long sentences at 20 mths when the DTs were born. At 20 mths, DTs could just about say 'Mama' .

Soooo, I seem to have talked my way into a rather large task! School summer fair today...I have been on the events committee since last term and the organisation has been an utter shambles. So me and my best mate in the playground have been shooting our mouths off making waves about it all and how things could be done better (not without a fair bit of support from other parents and some school staff). At the end of the fair, I was giving the head and deputy the dosh from my stall and they've given me (and whoever else I can rope in ) full responsibility for organising next year's fair....gulp .

So, I'd really appreciate some input - if you've managed to visit any school fairs this year, or any other year, what stalls/events/activities have been really successful. All ideas v. gratefully received!

triplets · 21/06/2008 21:44

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Fed up girls......been absolutely cream crackered today, washing all the school kit, packing everything for the trios trip next week, shopping, visiting my Mum..........you all know what I mean. Popped to M&S to get a quick microwave supper, nothing much left, didnt please a certain somebody. At 8pm collapsed on the sofa to watch Wild China, Thomas wanted some old wat thing on, so did Dh, the rest of us didnt, so Thomas just threw the biggest tantrum, slammed the glass door, Dh screamed and I mean screamed at him then shouted at me!! So I lost it, said the f word(Shabs is right, I am not posh really and hit him with the tv remote!! So everyone is not talking, but there are times when I can only take so much. Now I feel bad Really looking forward to getting away for a few next wek, though beginning to think it should be on my own!! I say that then I feel guilty about him having cancer

On a happy note glad to see my godson is putting on the pounds Shab, tell Em good girl xx

MERLYPUSS · 21/06/2008 21:45

If my DTS walk at 11 months they will be just in time to pull the xmas tree down.
We tried baby rice yesterday. Isaac (the smaller lad) ate it really well, proper 'chewing'. Thomas spat it out and cried. That surprised me as I thought Thomas would have been well up for it.

triplets · 21/06/2008 21:45

should have been "war", not wat!

MERLYPUSS · 21/06/2008 21:48

Oh Trips. You must be knackered. I dunno how you cope with triplets let alone the rest of the crap thats going on in your life a the mo. I am floundering with my two and feel a complete failure at times. And that's without any extra 'baggage'.

triplets · 21/06/2008 21:52

Hi Merly, life is pretty hard atm, trouble is its not going to get any better for a long time. Chemo is going to go on all through summer, if we ever get any. Three kids at home as well, might have to take Shabs offer up to send them up on the bus

triplets · 21/06/2008 21:54

Merly, what the diff now in Thomas`s and Isaacs weight, gorgeous pics btw.
