At the time Egg I used to think I would die from lack of sleep. My DH also worked regular nights Danny had a good appetite. I bf for 3 weeks but have to admit I was delighted when my breast milk gave up the ghost. My health also improved a great deal when I stopped breastfeeding.

It was a very difficult time but I was only 25 and I somehow just did it. Had a lot of help from family. Think it would 'floor' me now if I had to do it again.

Morning all,

didnt manage to get on last night, was at work earning a few pennies.

Went to see head of DD2 primary yesterday morning to talk about more T.A. hours and help for her, when arm/leg bad she struggles a lot. She was brilliant as always and said we will do everything we can. Also going to pick her up a few days a week early as she was falling asleep. Glad to have sorted all that, was feeling a pit of a witch pushing her to go to school all day.

Have rang secretaires of neurosurgeon and old consultant and waiting for appointments. Clic nurse phoned today and said platlettes are low so coming in the morning to do blood count and check them, otherwise blood transfusion.

Triplets, was it you looking for christening gifts ? a good website is notonthehighstreet, loads of lovely things on there.

Shabs I'm over the trauma of nearly having twins now, but maybe i could be surrogate Aunt to your quads ???

Hello everyone! Been busy, boy-twin's been in hospital for an operation to descend his undescended t*icle. Happy to say - fully successful, he's now got the full packet, (with stitches on)! Phew, very relieved, pleased we were out the same day and didn't have to stay overnight. Operation day was my birthday too so I was very chuffed to get for my birthday present... my son's right ball

Girl-twin seems clingy tho, and even seems sore between the legs, I'm taking her up the doc's tomoorrow to check for thrush etc, but could it be a twinny sympathy thing?

accordiongirl · 18/06/2008 16:01

Oh, so sorry to hear that Tigger! (just caught up with your post) x

MarsLady · 18/06/2008 16:26

hi ag! Hope it's just a sympathy thing. Glad BoyTwin is doing okay.

Well it's a full moon tonight and my client's waters have gone. So sadly I won't be meeting GBB (so can't fill you all in on the gossip yet) tonight.

So.. I have a few choices:

housework
study
read
bake

Just a wee clue... the first one does not feature highly on my list!

largeginandtonic · 18/06/2008 16:37

Tiggs i am glad you made it on, you are a brave soul. It will all be ok in the end and you sound very positive. Here all the way for you

Welcome GBB PMSL at Marsys clients tracking her down!

HM i am very pleased it is one, coping with 8 while dh was away for 9 months was filling me with dread. Coping with 7 is so much better

Ooogs they could share!!!

Shabs Quads??? Huh?

Egg if Neerly declines the top i would be happy to buy it from you! I too have an Isabella Oliver fetish

AC glad the op went ok, brave wee man. Did dd miss him maybe?

Trips well done getting through the first hurdle. What did you get the twins?

I am knackered, mil been here 2 days and we have done too much shopping. I need a rest!

accordiongirl · 18/06/2008 18:14

Yeah, think maybe so LG&T. Their relationship's really changing at the moment, they're just learnign each other's names: Moss calls Vera "Bo" and Vera calls Moss "Mo". Rest woman rest!

accordiongirl · 18/06/2008 18:15

And oh, he was SO brave. Went into theatre singing "this old man"...

GettingBiggerBird · 18/06/2008 21:14

Momma - 9.5 months - eek! Great that you still think they're delicious. But maybe you are a saint?

DH has run away from me to the pub. God, it's boring being so grumpy for so long (don't worry Mars, it's only directed at him and call centres, I'm reasonable with everyone else - prob good that the full moon saved you from meeting us tonight though).

Have a lovely evening, I'm off to sleep so I don't say anything else I shouldn't.
