Lydle - thanks for your information!!!
I didnt know I was having the twins till 10 days before they were born at 38 weeks. I was told that Gareth would not last the first night. Well - he did!! He lived till he was almost 8 months old. I used to ask what would I do if he stopped breathing or if his heart condition worsened. My doctor, bless him, said that would never happen and not to worry. Well - it did.
He died at home between his daddy and me - we were grabbing an extra 10 mins snooze. When we woke up he looked very well, very pink and with a smile on his face. He had died. I have no idea what my answer would have been if the same question had been given to me.
My little boy Matthew was killed by a reversing lorry. When I crawled under the lorry with him I knew he was going to die - no idea how I knew that I just knew. Again I wasn't faced with that question.
I think it would be helpful for you if you wrote down all your worries and questions and actually wrote down their answers next to your questions. I would then mull it over for as long as you need to.
I am a firm believer though in 'ce sera sera' and I have no idea what my final answer would be. I have just read my post back and it hasn't answered your question at all - maybe I should run for Prime Minister cause they dont answer questions either.
I think your meeting the medical staff is the very best thing you could do.
