Good morning girls!

TiggerTonkerTruck · 29/05/2008 08:57

Morning!!!

shabster · 29/05/2008 09:08

Hello me owd mucker - you behaving? If yes - why?

largeginandtonic · 29/05/2008 09:10

I feel like i'm intruding on you and Trips Shabs when i am catching up. Maybe you should start transcripting and making a book, it is so comforting to read.

Pix is house hunting, poor thing. Another move!

How is everyone this morning? We are having a skip delievered, do you think i may be taking the de clutter and nest thing too far?

shabster · 29/05/2008 09:21

G & T - you would never be intruding sweetheart - just join in with the nutters

I think I am still giddy that I can talk to Trips every night. I could never afford to phone her before I got the internet and relied on her generosity to ring me. Now its great - best thing we ever did really!

You better join in with us - no more lurking

tkband3 · 29/05/2008 09:24

Most amusing twin comment:

On seeing the DTs in a trolley in Sainsburys, both eating a rice cake a man said to me 'oh wow, they're eating the same thing' !!!! .

Most insulting, off-the-scale out of order thing (which those of you who've read Jackie Clunes' book might recognise - she asked for contributions on TAMBA):

A friend's psychologist father, on hearing our girls were identical said to us 'oh my friend Dr Mengele would have been interested in them' . Thought DH was going to hit him.

Am so hoping the sun comes out today - fed up with this rainy half term.

largeginandtonic · 29/05/2008 09:32

Ah the sun is out here and my pink skip has just been delievered, all is right in the world

TK i think i would have hit him too! People used to ask if the twins and dd were triplets despite the 20mth age gap

gruesomefoursome · 29/05/2008 09:50

Hi Guys, I need some cheering uo today, would have been my mum in laws birthday today and i'm feeling a little bit pissed off cos i miss her. Is the 1st anniversary on sunday and the inquest on the 17th so not having a good month!!! My kids are driving me insane, the girls are arguing over dolls and the twins over bloody transformers! anyone got any ideas on how not to strangle them!!!!!!!!!

gruesomefoursome · 29/05/2008 09:58

My best one was in a supermarket and i had the boys with me, a woman came up and said are they twins? I had got so pissed off with this question that i answered her saying" they look identical to each other, they are dressed the same and they are the same age but no they are not twins they are not even related" This woman looked at me and said that is so wiered how they look so alike. I walked off pissing myself laughing over how stupid some people really can be!!!!

MarsLady · 29/05/2008 10:04

Oh Gruesome I'm sorry for your loss!

I am, however, PMSL at your answer to that woman!

largeginandtonic · 29/05/2008 10:09

Oh gruesome how awful about loss, does it help to talk about it?

LOL at the comments, i have had similar in the past. It never ceases to amaze me how people are so thick

I suggest a picnic inside (is raining where you are?) lay out a cloth and picnic bits. Get them all to pick a teddy to bring and 'feed', maybe a book to drag it out longer.

My youngest is currently playing with a broom simple things...

gruesomefoursome · 29/05/2008 10:17

we are going to go out for a bit now that my car is on the road again. HURRAAAYYYYY!!! It helps a little to talk about it, i think once the inquest is over we might have some answers and will then know whether to take legal action against the NHS trust or not. You just feel as though you have no closure from it. We are going to see colin fry on wednesday and i am hoping and praying that he will give us some answers and some comfort so that we at least know that the decisions we made were the right ones. I miss her so much she was my best friend and even though almst a year has gone by i still find myself picking up the phone to ring and tell her something. I have set up a sight for her on gonetoosoon.co.uk under christine tunnicliffe, that will tell you what happened and why we are all hurting so much. Sorry about the rant

largeginandtonic · 29/05/2008 10:39

No apologies needed, we are here to listen. Anytime. You must be hurting, it is dreadful to lose someone you love.

Keep posting

gruesomefoursome · 29/05/2008 10:59

cheers large. good to know that people dont mind me ranting. I cant talk about it much to andy's family because she was their mum, even though she spent more time with me than anyone else, as soon as she was in hospital i wasnt important anymore and i was shunned from helping with the funeral and everything else and that hurts a lot. she was the closest thing i had to a mum in 6 years and we were together everyday. She even phoned me when she was in pain instead of one of her children so trhat says it all and she held on until i could get to the hospital to say my goodbyes before she died xxx

largeginandtonic · 29/05/2008 11:04

I'm sure she nows you you were always there for her, if she asked you for help then it shows. I read the gonetosoon, what an awful situation. You must be desperate for answers. Do something nice with the squabbling horrors and take some deep breaths

TiggerTonkerTruck · 29/05/2008 11:13

Gruesome I replied to your message on FB, took me some figuring out I can tell you!!! I never knew that was there!!

I am around today cleaning the house so if you want a chat just get hold of me. Both my e-mails are on FB too. Don't use the TripleyTigger one as I hardly ever go there, except to talk to my future husband

I hope your day goes well my friend.x.x.

Neenztwinz · 29/05/2008 12:31

Pazza I am totally hearing you on the screaming twin thing - if DH is there he can calm one while I feed the other but otherwise I either let them scream or take one off the breast after a few mins and put the other on (actually I only ever take Theo off cos if esther is on she is so fussy I won't take her off for fear of her not going back on again)

The feeding is going much better now - I am putting Theo on for 5 mins then Esther and she has had 10mins or more at each feed since. I spend about an hour just swapping them about. When Esther gets bored I put T back on and when he falls off I put E back on. I am very confident that she'll do better next week. I am not too concerned anyway - I know she is feeding better now than last week so I am sure she'll gain more.

Thanks for link to Dr Newman's vids and caranial osteopathy Mars - a few people have recommended that.

MarsLady · 29/05/2008 12:52

You're welcome honey!

oooggs · 29/05/2008 14:38

triplets · 29/05/2008 17:47

Hi ladies, odd time of day for me to be on here, but truth to tell I could fall asleep so need to keep the brain if there is one going!Poured with rain all day, peed off! Had an exciting trip to Tesco and Homebase, then shot to M&S after lunch bought a load of clothes home to try on as I have to go to a funeral tomorrow and honestly have nothing suitable, but nothing fits, feel fat and frumpy(no offence FG!)so feel fed up, then I saw in there a really pretty necklace, a heartshape creamy colured thing, so just told H he has treated me, I deserve something!
Shabs.................are you ok today? I dont like it when you are dwon, I can feel it.....sagapo xx Soon be Matthews a/v, stupid word that isnt it Shabs, because it sounds like something you should be celebrating, 14 yrs. I felt upset today, in our local rag there is a picture of one of Matthews friends, an RAF pilot, just got married at our local church, where Matthew was christened, where I hoped he would get married, where his funeral was ,

H looks ok, eating well, we keep falling out, being together 24/7 is hard esp in the rain and with 3 kids at home! Back later me lovelies, will exect some choc covered roast almonds and a glass of crisp white wine please
