MarsLady · 28/05/2008 01:13

You're going to meet someone from MN in REAL LIFE?????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

frumpygrumpylovesbruce · 28/05/2008 01:17

Aw Mars, last week Shabs was playing me sweet-talkin music and we got misty eyed and said we might. Then I was a lazyass donkey little disorganised and haven't spoken to her since about it!!! We'll see. Lets see how the world looks through the eyes of Pinkfrogs United tomorrow.

By the way, did I say, did I? Did I? Did I tell you girls I'm going to see BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN TOMORROW??? I'm not even remotely excited. I know you can see that.

frumpygrumpylovesbruce · 28/05/2008 01:19

Jeez, look at the bogging time!

[looking good tomorrow my ass emoticon]

Night all, long and peaceful, well, maybe just peaceful xxxxxxxx

shabster · 28/05/2008 08:20

Morning girls.....frumpster you are a swine!!!

Here's me still in Osmond mode - forgetting all about Mr. Springsteen. Oh poo and double poo.

Today I have to go to the diabetes clinic with DH while they squirt hurty stuff in his eyes to check his retinas are ok. Then my mum needs me to go to docs with her cause she is worried about her loosing her mind forgetfulness and knows that I wont be fobbed off.

Oh piggin' poo Frumps - I cant get into Manchester

Oh poo. At least you will be impressed with all the liquid stuff pouring out of the sky in rainy Manchester!! I cant meet you Frumpy

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 08:56

I am in with the FG\Shabs meet!!! Shame it cant happen...

Merry i have 6 children and 1 on the way, i say 1 in my most hopeful voice

Ooogs darling I had 20 months between the twins and dd. Oh what fun it was Come on then spill the beans...

The doc thinks i am 6-7 weeks ooogs, i think i am 4-5 and feeling terrible very quickly. My mother assures me it is a girl, maybe 2

Snorris how are you feeling love?

Momma how is work going? We miss you

hattyyellow · 28/05/2008 08:59

Morning all - not much sleep and when I did nod off strange whirling dreams of hundreds of babies surrounding me!

Have to work this morning and maybe that's best to keep my mind off things.

Sorry for me, me, me - scanned your messages but not quite sure what some of them are all about! But big wave to everyone.

Have ordered Dh to bring home lots of chocolate - if I can't turn to booze it'll have to be sugar instead.

Snorris did you measure big for dates in your pregnancies after twins? Did you show early?

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 09:03

Hatty i forgot this yestarday but when i had dd after the twins i was convinced it was 2 (or more) again. I felt so terrible and couldnt shake the feeling. It was a girl but still not 2!

I wake up like that every morning Hatty and ya know what? It is blimmin true Babies everywhere...

shabster · 28/05/2008 09:13

Morning Hatty Morning G & T

Im trying to figure out how I can either ditch my mam or DH and escape to the great metropolis that is Manchester.

I would love to meet the mighty Frumpster....and would really love to go into Manchester again today.

I used to work in the center and it is a buzzing town.

Shabby rehearses her lines - 'Its not that I dont want to help Mam, but Pink Frog is in Manchester' and to DH 'I'm sure you will be able to find your way home after a couple of hours when the eye drops wear off.'

Its not going to work is it?

All this talk on here of babies is, I am sure, going to make me pregnant....still dont know where the mighty Tomster came from.

snorris · 28/05/2008 09:19

Hiya!
Feeling not too bad. Morning sickness is still here and ,for me,quite bad (don't normally suffer). I get so tired but if I sleep I wake up feeling crap so I don't know what's worse. Dd1 doesn't know so she still expects me to do all the 'horsey' stuff as usual-it's almost a blessing in disguise that my pony is out of action.

Hatty I tend to be a bit of a 'heifer' anyway but as the baby grows I seem to lose it (slightly drastic diet plan ) I've already lost 1/2 a stone but I think that's more to do with giving up alcohol and tea plus the associated biscuits/cake. I'm also fairly big-boned,although not particularly tall and seen to have plenty of room across IYSWIM. Saves a fortune on maternity clothes though .
Sorry,my ramblings aren't much help really .

hattyyellow · 28/05/2008 09:20

Shabster I went to university in Manchester - it's a fantastic place isn't it!

Ginandtonic you've made me laugh, which is quite an achievement today!

I think once you've had that lifechanging moment of finding out it's twins the first time and beating the odds for the small likelihood of that happening - it's hard to believe in odds again...

Dh keeps reminding me of the stats we found that it's a 1 in 10,000 chance that I'd have non-id twins this time around and 1 in 70,000 that I'd have id's again - but I kind of feel that stats and odds don't apply to me anymore...does that make any sense at all?

Must do some work.

shabster · 28/05/2008 09:24

Snorris - you make me laugh...I was sick with every one of my four lads...really, really sick!!

Hatty - My twins were un-diagnosed till 36 weeks!! It was 1981 when routine scans weren't done unless you were having problems. They were born ten days later - I could still scream right out loud at the shock of the day when they did an x-ray!!

snorris · 28/05/2008 09:27

Maybe this ones a boy . Imagine that, having 4 big sisters

hattyyellow · 28/05/2008 09:27

Oh my word Shabster that must have been one hell of a suprise!

shabster · 28/05/2008 09:33

Just a bit!!

shabster · 28/05/2008 09:33

WOW Snorris - they would smother him with love and protection!!

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 09:36

Hatty! Are the twins id??? Oh dont worry, that is a completely random event. It is non id twins (like FG's ) that you have a higher chance of having again. I am only worried because i haad triplets to start with and had no idea if they were id triplets or just id twins and an extra!

Calm thoughts, calm thoughts.

Shabs bummer about the busy day, cant Tomster do it He is an angel and very capable. Just teach him to drive first

Snorris when will you tell dd? Mine all know, i need them to help me and understand why i lose the plot

hattyyellow · 28/05/2008 09:44

Snorris sorry to hear about the m/sickness . Ramblings are helpful, I guess no one can really give me the answers I want except the sonographer on Friday!

Ginandtonic thank you - am trying to remember to breathe..

LGAT I think it is multiple

Seriously, two days after I had my treatment I got so sick. DH was running around screaming "This is it!!! You are PG"
Whilst I was going "Shut up you fool!! I think I would know if I was PG and you don't get sick that quick"

How strong a line did you have on your pG test?
Mine was like HELLO even the hospital were impressed by its colour

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 12:04

The line was as dark as dark can be immediately, it was lunch time too.

TiggerTonkerTruck · 28/05/2008 12:10
