Hello hive mind!

My twins 1st birthday is coming up, they are my 3rd and 4 children, so we have a lot of toys as you can imagine!

Do you have any gift recommendations?!

Perhaps things I might have but need a second one of…I’m thinking of a little trike…or mine have always loved their Little Tikes red and yellow car, do I really need a second?!

At this rate they’ll just be getting nursery clothes, any recommendations much appreciated! 🩷🩷

I think I used to do outdoor toys. Swing that had two seats so could face each other, sandpit, water tray.

I was in a similar situation, though not with twins. I kept some of the older kids toys out of sight and wrapped them & presented them for birthdays/xmas for the first 2 or 3 years. The money I would have spent on gifts was then used for days out/ treats when the older kids were at school.

Dt were my 2 and 3rd. I just bought a token gift for them, more for dc1 than for them.
I just had one little tikes car and they soon learnt to share (much younger than many according to nursery). We also had one trike but they had there own bike each aged 3/4.

For my twins first birthday for family/friends who were asking what to get I asked for money towards a year's membership to a local farm park attraction.

I got them a mini (toddler) seesaw with a couple of small toys to open each.

My older daughter sorted out some of her old toys that she had outgrown to gift to her sisters as a birthday present too
