triplets · 27/04/2008 23:20

Beatles, fab..............you know I am their all time biggest fan!

triplets · 27/04/2008 23:22

Awwwww they all look so young...........happy days eh?

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:22

Dan and Em are very good. Helped Dan strip Lewis' bedroom from the dreaded wood chip wallpaper yesterday. Havent got a single part of me that is not hurting!!

Helped Em to pack her hospital bag as well. They have so much lovely stuff for him. Danny is busy making a collage of all the receipts for money spent up to now on Lewis. He has a lovely frame and he is going to put it on the nursery wall!!! The travel system (pram to me and thee) was £400 to start with!!

Emmas bump is growing so big - she looks odd - tiny slim frame with a beach ball stuck up her jumperxxx

When I was about 14 I used to buy a comic called Jackie and they did a full size poster of Paul. I stuck it on my ceiling so when I woke up in the morning he was on top of me (so to speak) looking down!

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:25

For you my friend

triplets · 27/04/2008 23:26

Band on the run, band on the run...oh you have started me off now, loved that album, vinyl days girls!

Timesofhope · 27/04/2008 23:28

Thank you for all the welcome messages! Its nice to know theres people out there in the same position. I'd never thought of getting help from nursery students but its a thought. We have been told we should go and get sponsorship from a nappy company so we get free nappies, but surely even though triplets are quite rare they are not going to just chuck nappies at us cos we happen to be having three instead of one?!

Been stressed today as well, basically havn't had a day to myself since we found out it was triplets, and all visitors suddenly seem to think they have rights to my stomach (which includes stroking my belly and kissing it three times for each baby) Obviously when the little ones arrive I will want as many people visiting as possible for the help, but in my last 20 weeks or so of pregnancy I do want at least ONE day to myself please!!

triplets · 27/04/2008 23:28

Rodster.............love the man, great performance that Shabs, loved the fiddle!

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:28

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:31

Hiya Hope - I didnt find out I was having twins until 10 days before they were delivered at 38 weeks!!! It was 1981 and scans weren't routine then. They only xrayed me because I had developed pre-eclampsia. My friend Triplets is the lady you need xxxxx

triplets · 27/04/2008 23:33

What a lovely trip down memory lane this is!They were the best of days weren`t they, I believe we are the lucky ones, to this day I remember all the songs and all the words.Shabs you should have been a DJ!

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:33

Band on the run

Timesofhope · 27/04/2008 23:34

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow. Have a more detailed scan on Weds. which my mother-in-law has invited herself along to, which I can live with, I just to want to enjoy the last weeks of my pregnancy without wondering whos gonna be knocking at the door next. I wanna slob about in my pj's and if there are people coming round I don't feel comfortable doing that.

triplets · 27/04/2008 23:36

Shabs can you find me Norwegian Wood, do you have to pay for these? If so I`ll send an iou!

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:37

I really, really love music. Will try and think of some good stuff that you may enjoy.

When I was in my teens - early 1970's we were all mad on Rodders and I loved Northern soul. I loved watching the boys dance to it all. I liked reggae and tamla motown.

I love the boxer by Simon and Garfunkle. We had to perform that in our leaving concert from High School in 1973

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:38

No trips dont have to pay for them just nick them off youtube!!

Hope:- have you got any other children? I think everybody around you must be so excited, and I would imagine you are as well but also feeling a bit cautious and panicky??

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:40

Sorry got sidetracked

triplets · 27/04/2008 23:41

Loved Bridge over troubled water album, yet another song from Matthews concert chosen by his friend Paul who sang it, love the Boxer too, in fact I must get that on CD,something else I have on vinyl.

Shabster you have a point - this is my first pregnancy and obviously I am feeling a bit like i've been dropped in the deep end and I can't swim!! Plus it doesn't help when everyone around you is like 'you're gonna have your hands full' and 'how are you going to cope' Everyone in the family is very excited, as am I, but in the end they are not going to be the responsible party for all three, they can just dip in and out when they feel like it.

triplets · 27/04/2008 23:43

Shabs do you remember Colin Blunstone, he came to Deal last year and me ans my friend Lisa went, it was a fantastic night, bopping up front!

shabster · 27/04/2008 23:43
