PMSL, my granny says living over the brush! And we say strumpet. My favourite is trollop. Love that word

My granny thinks there is something wrong that we don't get married. She says to my mum "what do you think it is hen" with a wee worried face

Ruby, you have to hand over loads of dosh in inheritance tax if you are a trollop.

frumpygrumpyhasnofaceon · 27/04/2008 11:27

Ruby, do you fancy a bit of brush dancing this morning?

My mum keeps saying about Dan and Em (who are both strumpets and living over the brush) 'Oh its a bloody good job your nans not alive, she would be turning in her grave if she was' WTF!! 'Oh our Shabba make them two get married.'

Right you two (Dan and Em) your dead great grandma is spinning cause you two strumpets are living over the brush. Now go straight away and tie the knot.

Im not here anyway - Im knitting

Bunch of heathen hussies you lot are...

I have been to church (with all the dc) to purge my soul and pray that one sperm does not make it through.

Marriage used to fill me with dread too, the whole full on day everyone looking at you, terrifying. We managed it on 5 weeks notice after knowing each other 6 months for £1000. We had cocktails by the water cooler full and i borrowed a dress. I was still glad when it was all over, waaaaay to many photographs for my liking.

Mars how are things i seem to have missed you on here for months. I am feeling like i want to go back to work but not ready for the full on work commitment. Any paper work i can help you with?

Shabs my mom is a white witch, always knows before me if i am pregnant. Her witchy radar is not so good unless she can see me though. I went home from University for a visit once and i was wheel barrowing piles of earth in to the garden. She stopped me and said " i dont think you should be doing that", "why on earth not" i said. "Dunno she said, just stop it" I phoned a week later to let her know i had just got a positive pregnancy test... FREAKY.

afternoon everyone - came back early as my Mum was looking after the DCs and isnt very well...but had a lovely time in the hot tub with a bottle of champers before dinner, then dinner, then....oh, another bottle of champers in the hot tub again. WE slept until 8.45am this morning.......unheard of since pre-kids! It was heaven........

Only downside was that there were some KIDS there!! I went to get away from them and they were running around and screaming until late at night - tsk tsk, what were their parents thinking!!

Hee hee, thanks Ruby. She is fine, just got a bit of a virus I reckon. Straight back to normal now with the kids rampaging around......less than 24 hours away, but still, it was worth it!

oooggs · 27/04/2008 14:59

snorris · 27/04/2008 15:23

Not yet! My sister offered to drop it into the conversation-in return I was going to mention that dsis wants to be sterilised .

HarrogateMum · 27/04/2008 15:45

FG - yes my hands and feet were mega wrinkly after a total of about 4 hour spent in the damn thing!

Re being married - can you believe in October DH and will have been married for 12 years..........ggaaaaaaaaaaaahh what a long time!

shabster · 27/04/2008 16:33

We just completed our 30 yr jail sentance anniversary. Its a wonderful institution

Im not here - I have cooked a full sunday dinner, moved toms room all around and got rid of teenage boy odour!! Washed dishes 3 times, almost knitted an aran cardi, and washed and ironed.

All completed with my DH and DS sat watching me saying things like 'You dont have to do that you aren't very well!!!!!' and, worst of all lifting their feet up while I hoover under them. I lurve being a mum and wife
