Hi to you all................what a roller coaster again we have been on . Harry phoned me at 12pm and said he was ok, ready to go down to theatre at 1.30pm, the only one on the list, expected to be in surgery about three hours. I had soooooooooooo mant phone calls whilst deperately trying to keep normal and cook supper, by 7pm we had heard nothing so I phoned the ITU and they said they were expecting him but he was not up there yet. At 9pm I phoned and they said he had come off the table at 8pm but couldnt give me any details. At 10.10pm they phoned and said, "would you like tp speak to him"!!! He was there, had come round very quickly, they had removed all the drains and other things and said he was amazing and shouldnt really be there!! He was very groggy, but just said "hello, I am alright", oh how my heart jumped for pure joy! He has had to have a bag, will see the consultant first thing in the morning, so praying that the long surgery does not necessarily mean too much. Endless thank yous to all of you, those I know and those I don`t, it has meant so much to me to know you are all there and I am so touched by you all. xxxx
