Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

Lots of love Mrs Mel Gibson William Wallace

pixi - hope you are feeling ok and that things improve for you soon x

shabster · 03/04/2008 20:46

The mighty Dotster is 74 and Harryster is 76, due to my late babymaking with Tomster. They take him home from school every Thursday and feed him till he is almost sick.

How weird, they have a 10 yr old grandson and are expecting their first great grandchild in June

As my dad was leaving he said (Tiggs will appreciate this as she is P Kay fan) 'Right love, see you soon, gonna go 'ome and get settled. Its not far off our bedtime (it was 7.15pm)we'll get curtains drawed as soon as we get in!!

He has bought my mum some herbal tablets for memory loss and she cant remember where she has put them .......I stand no chance of mental survival whatsoever!!

shabster · 03/04/2008 20:48

That sounded weird - as if I was responsible not only for the conception of Tomster but also for my parents ages!!!!

Tis genetic insanity

TiggerToTheMax · 03/04/2008 21:00

Did Tomster have his afternoon nap?

shabster · 03/04/2008 21:07

Oh dont Tiggs - they seem to let him do that when he is on school holidays!! They would have a fit if they saw him in Faliraki - some days we are all sat in the bar, laughing, dancing and singing at 3am Well, it would be very unsociable to not join in wouldn't it????Tomster is the one moaning as we are going to our apartment saying 'I'm not even tired mum, aw I dont want to go to bed.'

TiggerToTheMax · 03/04/2008 21:09

I have trained routined my children so well that they have to be in bed by 8pm at the very latest or they actually cry and beg me ?
Was good when they were little but a bloody nightmare if you want to stay out with friends in the summer

shabster · 03/04/2008 21:11

Routine? Whats that?

I gave up on all such things when he got to 4 and still didnt sleep for more than 3 hours a night. [black circled eyes emoticon]

shabster · 03/04/2008 21:12

Just thought DS1 and his DP are letting me look after Lewis full time - ha ha ha ha ha lets see if I can get the sleep thing right with this lad!!!!

MarsLady · 03/04/2008 21:13

answers on a postcard

Thought I'd link that before going out to.... now what is it I do on a Thursday again?

TiggerToTheMax · 03/04/2008 21:16

How lovely shabs get practising in case mine comes along. Then I can pop it in the post to spend the night with Auntie Shabs

I can say, hand on heart I never had one night of pacing up and down with a baby crying. They never stirred all night and they never wet their nappies which meant dry nights were not a problem........I just failed at everything else!!!!!!! PMSL

Leoloopydoo · 03/04/2008 21:17

Hi all, any news from Pixi?

MarsLady · 03/04/2008 21:17
TiggerToTheMax · 03/04/2008 21:18

Ohhhhhhhhh Thats one way to look at it!!!! Perhaps I should have swapped my bran flakes for a curry though ....

Leoloopydoo · 03/04/2008 21:24

I'm still checking in when I can Mars, but I find it so difficult to follow everythinganything that I give up trying, but really miss everyone.

Anyway, all well here ! Dts and ds1 are wonderful, gorgeous, adorable! Dts are walking and dt2 answered the phone when i rang from work today ! its kind of a shock that they aren't babies anymore as the last year went by so quickly and in such a fuzz that I hardly remember anything about them. Stil bfeeding, but only morning feeds now.

TiggerToTheMax · 03/04/2008 21:58

BIG VIBES FOR PIXI

I have just texted Pixi.....and she is having contractions every ten mins!!!!
How mad is that? texting whilst you are contracting!!!!!! PMSL

What isn't so funny is that she is very tired and her breathing is very difficult with every contraction.
But you know Pixi, she's going great guns and hopefully i will get to see her tomorrow and you never know it might be plus one!!! .

Pixi you are doing great my friend!!!!!!!!
