Momma, thats no fun! 2weeks! My DP been away in States this week and possibly away next week to Hong Kong. Its all good work but.......

When I just had DD, and DP would go away, I used to take her to the airport when he came home. I'd bath her and pop her in her tiny pink fluffy robe and slippers and we'd drive out into the night together spotting stars and the moon as we went. It was such fun. People used to come off their flight at, say, 8pm and she'd be standing there with her teddy and her curly blonde hair and they would melt

Now, its too much bother and too many arguments to do that, and there's homework and clocks to watch etc etc. I think thats part of the reason I get fed up. The lovely things are so few and far between.

I am ranting again!!! Throw icy water at me please. I should be tesco shopping......

Finally got Tomster off here and into his pit!!!

Anybody seen trips?

I made the dreaded mistake again tonight and watched Emmerdale. Dont know the name of the actress who is playing the part of the mum who lost her baby - but she is absolutly magnificent - I have wept silent bucket fulls of tears tonight watching it - DH just gave me the look and a wide berth as he went out to play pool.

Apple juice in my glass, the hamster fed, the whippets walked, the ferrets bedded down for the night. Eh up everthings alreet with the world

I know that rubes - thank you. Im a bit afraid to give in to feelings - if I start you lot will be like the little boy with his finger in the hole of the dam wall!!!

Many years have gone by and I have learnt to put loads of stuff in my filing cabinet memory and get on with stuff.

Just the way I cope - dosen't work for everybody - but it helps for me.
