I saw! lol You're a good friend to have. My head is fine. I need to sleep as I have a couple of ladies that I'm waiting on.

ChopsTheDuck · 25/03/2008 07:15

Morning everyone!

Hope you are feeling a bit better today fg. I never go to the drs neither, so I'm not a lot of help. I tend to leave it until I've got pnumonia or something! If your chest gets painful, do go in.

The boys really enjoyed their birthday but I can't say the rest of us did. It was bitterley cold to be walking around there. The thomas ride lasted all of about 10 minutes which was dissapointing, but at least they had fun.

Back to school today and I am shattered, I def do not like the split holiday business. Even the dts are still asleep - worn out!

HarrogateMum · 25/03/2008 08:26

morning all..........DH gone off to London, kids all day, nice and sunny, the snowman is still in the back garden though, refusing to melt!

Big hugs to all the unwell ones!!

HD is in London did you say?

shabster · 25/03/2008 09:06

Morning ladies - the snotty, coughing bug got me in the middle of the night

Crusty eyelids, sore throat, barking cough - what joy, what fun.

All Frumpsters fault I got too close when I rocked her and sang to her.

shabster · 25/03/2008 09:07

MuckyMarslady - Easy Tiger

HarrogateMum · 25/03/2008 09:30

yes Mars he is, and he went in his jeans looking v casual - I was like "Hmmm its a meeting you are going to is it, why arent you wearing a suit?" Infact he said it was a "workshop" actually.......have you got some kind of salsathon going on or something Mars, he did have a bit of a glint in his eye as he walked out the door.....

shabster · 25/03/2008 09:35

HMum

My DH keeps getting texts off a mystery woman!! I KNOW its his best mates wifes phone - and best mate is the one texting BUT oh what fun I have being sarcastic

DH is very, very jealous if I talk to the postman, my own brother, etc etc and gives me a hard time.....so.....now 'theres no bowl deep enough and no spoon wide enough' for my stirring, sarcastic tongue.

God knows how we made it to 30 years

shabster · 25/03/2008 10:07

YYYYeeeeeaaaaahhhhh I fixed my msn!!

I checked the date on the computer before I restored the settings. Tomster and his friends are on a game where you have to rear your own penguin (yes I know dont ask me why!!) you get extra points for the older your penguin is. Darling, wonderful Tomster had set the calender on the computer for 2010 and was winning by about a million points. His best friend was amazed yesterday at his penguin rearing skills So I have reset the correct date probably causing the said penguin to snuff it!! Im just going to have a face like this when the Penguin champion - Tomster - explodes with rage later today.

Now to try and fix facebook

shabster · 25/03/2008 10:55

Facebook is back on!!! Yes! OMG I need to get a real life

I was just wondering on the timing you see Momma. My family are always... how shall we say... laid back when it comes to arrival times.

I don't know what you mean Shabby. [cough]

Besides Shabs... look out here comes Tomster of the dead penguin!

frumpygrumpy · 25/03/2008 15:56

Hullo. PMSL at the penguin. Off to the docs now, feel shit. DP reckons totally able to drive myself though...... I will manage. And thats not the point.

HarrogateMum · 25/03/2008 15:58

hope you get sorted at the docs FG.

Mars - you are naughty

frumpygrumpy · 25/03/2008 16:05

HM, I've left some water and air outside her door. HD might never be the same again.

Ladies, just saw charleymouse on another thread. I reminded her we have an open door whenever she needs us. Remember one of her twins passed away soon after birth. Don't be a stranger Charleymouse, there are a couple of bereaved mums on this thread. We are happy to hold your hand if you need us xxx.

shabster · 25/03/2008 17:02

Hiya Frumpster - thought I recognised the name Charleymouse - that is one sad thread isin't it? It leaves me treading in mud!! Not sure what to say - you really would think I would know the right words wouldnt you?

evening all

lost track again, from what I can gather from my quick skim, FG is poorly, Mars has HD hiding in the wardrobe, shabs sounds more attractive with every post and I haven't caught up with the rest of you yet...

shabster · 25/03/2008 18:42

Hiya dingdong - 'more attractive' well thank you honey - dont even care if you are telling fibs thank you I do try, sometimes, you know.

largeginandtonic · 25/03/2008 19:34

Hello everyone, hope you are all ok.

Triplets a belated Happy Birthday to you and to Chops lovely boys.

Momma you are being such a good friend to Pixi, i wish i had had you near me when i had Beau last year. I was just like PIxi, stressed and all alone. I really thought i would be having to do the birth and the childcare on my own.

Pixi i know you are due tomorrow, i am hopig this baby holds on for you to be ready and rested. They really do 'wait' sometimes, Hugo waited for Jonah to come out of hospital (with Pneumonia) he was 14 days late and i held off the induction saying he couldnt come out till Jonah was out! Incidentally he came in 40 minutes, we cane home from the hospital with me in full labour

I am thinking of you and if there is anything i can do, ridiculous offer i know, then please ask.

Mars the twin birth you attended sounds just amazing! My birth plan for the twins looked like that, hey ho...

FG the lurgy must be driving you crazy, i hate being 'slowed' by illness, i know you are the same! Heres hoping it all buggers off soon.

Beau has been so poorly, i did one of those dash to the doc and expect to be sent to A&E. luckily we managed to avoid it and rehydrated him ourselves (nasty D&V bug)

oooggs · 25/03/2008 19:37

hi LG&T - hope Beau is better now - not nice poor little man

Pixi - hopefully you are getting some rest

the rest of my mind is blank

iamdingdong · 25/03/2008 19:44

oooggs this thread has that effect on me too I can keep some bits in my mind, but the detail gets lost between me skimming and posting

LG&T is beau better now? Poor little thing.

Pixi sounds like a stressful weekend for you, I hope things improve soon

Everyone else, hello, hugs to you all

oooggs · 25/03/2008 19:53
