Good evening ladies, Just thrown the trio into their heaps, all supposed to be on their best behaviour as its my big day tomorrow, my God this is my last few hours of being 55, thought it was scary when I was 45, but how can I be 56 tomorrow? Inside I feel .............feel......like 90 atm! Dh and I are going out together, yes, together tomorrow to my very good friends, some others are coming, we are providing the food, Dh insisted!! I am determined to enjoy myself, its been one hell of a week! Dearest Frumpy, thank you for your lovely message, you are a sweetheart xx. Now where on earth is that Shabster again, did we get an apology for her missing her party? That we were forced into drinking all the wine and eating all the chicken wings and bombay mix? I am off to bed early tonight, poor Dh had a bad night last night so woke me up 4 times, then we were both up very early this morning, I need all the beauty sleep I can get now..............56........hells bells !

Good morning ladies!! We are only 4 hours late coming home!!

My milo feu (my lovley friend) TRIPS - Happy, happy birthday. Thank you for being my 'constant' - someone who I know I can rely on, someone who quite likes me for ME - someone who has excellent taste in little boys names!!

Many years ago when I read your letter in the Compassionate Friends magazine the name Matthew jumped off the page to me. I think I wrote to you first. What a lovley collision of potential friends that was. You DO NOT look 56 and much more importantly you have intelligence, love and a heart and brain full of youth and compassion.

If I was tiddly I would not be able to type these words. I want to thank you for everything, I am still on this planet thanks to family, my boys, and to very special friends like you - they are hard to find and I appreciate you so much.

Happy Birthday Trips - Sagapo, you owd trout. BIG FISH, LITTLE FISH, CARDBOARD BOX....do it - go on trips - practice, ready for Faliraki 2018 - Thelma and Louise on tour xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Happy Birthday Triplets!!!

HarrogateMum · 22/03/2008 08:53

Happy Birthday Trips!! YOu dont look a day over 21!

Welcome to Tye - as Momma said its normal to have more scans in pregnancy with twins, I had them every two weeks towards the end. Stick with us, we will make you laugh!

Feeling much better today after a curry and two glasses of wine (hair of the dog). It has snowed but now the sun is shining! Taking the DTs for their haircuts today, always very traumatic because they just flail around, scream and generally have everyone in there staring at them. Its very stressful. Infact, they seem to behave badly quite often......do you think its the way I've brought them up??

piximon · 22/03/2008 09:54

Happy Birthday Triplets!!! Really hoping you can try to let go of everything today and just enjoy yourself.

Life mad here. DH landed up yesterday with my father in tow so we had to re-shuffle all the beds again and I think I managed a whole hour of sleep. Looks like I'll be on my own here for a few days next weekend as my mum will need to go to London to clear the house so fingers crossed baby comes either before or after then.

Momma thank you for yesterday. Seeing you always lifts my spirits.

shabster · 22/03/2008 10:05

''Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Biiiiiiiirthday''

Later on girls are we gonna give Trips the bumps!! Hope its not just a Bolton thing!!! A leg each. An arm each. AND chuck her up in the air.....Oh yes, almost forgot - and catch her on the way down.

oooggs · 22/03/2008 10:10

happy birthday triplets - have a lovely day - you deserve it

hi pixi - hope you are taking care of yourself

snorris · 22/03/2008 10:52

Happy Birthday Triplets. Here's to a good day

Hello Pixi-don't forget if there's anything I can do please let me know.

MarsLady · 22/03/2008 10:57

Happy Birthday triplets!

frumpygrumpy · 22/03/2008 10:58

Hi tye! Congratulations. You do certainly get many more scans with a multiple pregnancy. From fairly early on I had monthly scans and heart monitoring then later on, fortnightly, towards the end of my pregnancy it was weekly. Your community midwife might not know all that much about twin pregnancy care because often your care will be taken over by a hospital consultant's clinic and not the midwife. They do like to keep a much closer eye on you when you are carrying twins. She will still be involved a bit but don't be surprised if you are asked to attend his clinic regularly. You will probably end up knowing much, much more about twin pregnancy than your community midwife!! Are you feeling well? First children?

Triplets, Happy Birthday Darling! Hope its a good one, enjoy tonight (shame you are taking the food ) and I hope they pamper you!

I feel so awful today. My throat feels like its been operated on with no anasthetic. It hurts to cough and even to speak. I am feeling very sorry for myself today. I do detest being ill, no time to be ill. Yuk. Can't face food or wine

Shabby, up here its the dumps. You get a thump on your back for every year.....the Scots are such a friendly bunch And triplets.......you really don't look 56. Remember we have seen the photos. My mum always says you get the face you deserve. You have.

frumpygrumpy · 22/03/2008 10:58
