Good morning ladies. Tomster is on Easter holidays from school. Everybody ok?

triplets · 17/03/2008 09:14

Easter Hols already? Mine have got this w/end off then they go back to school and break up on the 4th April! Poor things, we have ben so touchy with them this w/end, they have been naughty though, its just hard trying to keep sane atm. My stomach is in knots, cannot shake off this feeling of fear, feel pathetic, should look to Oj for strength, she is amazing. Keep telling myself I am over reacting about my blood results tomorrow, just letting everything get on top of me, its not like me. be so glad when we know exactly what is going on, weeks of being in limbo. My birthday this w/end, even that is depressing, soon to be the other side of 55, cannot believe I am that age! Don`t know what to do, girlfriends want to do something but I just cannot even think about it, god I am a miserable old sod! My sil just phoned and asked me to go shopping with her to Canterbury, thats a first, so will go and smarten up, ha ha, back later. Morning Shabby, played Rod all last night xxx

shabster · 17/03/2008 09:20

morning trips - yes they are off for two whole weeks!

Try not to fret and worry too much about your results - yes I know easy for me to say because its not me!

Dans friend telephoned me last night and said - 'I have just been to my mums grave (she died 6 months ago) and I haven't got the courage to come and see you. I got to thinking about your Matt and I knew I would just burst into tears when I saw you because you look so much like him. Please forgive me for ducking out of my visit this time I promise I will come and see you in a couple of months' There are some lovley people in this world - young lads get so much bad press and he proved they are not all the same.

Have a lovley day with SIL - smile and enjoy yourself. Sagapo.

TiggerMeJigs · 17/03/2008 09:22

Gawd, I was only away from fri and its taken me nearly all morning to catch up!!

Anyone heard from pixi today? Hope u ok pixi!

Welcome to aprilgirl, congrats on the pg.

We've not had a good weekend. Dp's gran had a stroke fri night, so is in hospital. We're all veyr worried. She seems to have deterioated since she went in, and is very confused now, We're hoping they are going to scan her today and get some answers. They wouldn't get a consultant to see her 'because they don't work weekends' so we've been waiting and worrying.

My laptop seems to have fried itself, so Im on my very dodgy and lazy home pc, which keeps going to sleep.

oh and I am not convinced by eggs in fish pie! I'm trying to get dp to eat mroe fish, slowly, not managed to get him to eat fish pie yet.

I am so annoyed with the school. they knew that it was going around and yet said nothing I mean the symptoms were a bit like meningitis so I wouldn't have worried so much!!

LGAT Feeling your ARGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Hope he little one's bug gets out of their system soon!!

Chops

shabster · 17/03/2008 12:45

OMG tigs - Im sure tomster was close to the scarlet fever last week. The temp, very sore throat, cough, bad tummy ache and then the rash!! By the time we could get a docs appointment the rash had faded!!! I checked him all night with a glass on his skin cause I thought it looked like a meningitus type thing. OMG - it was like a patchy allergy type rash - is it contagious? OMG I am off to google it!

Just googled it and the only thing Tomster had different from the symptoms is the awful hacking cough.

He's well impressed that he might have had what tigs little 'un has - told him he could have caught it from Tigs when he was kissing her!! I feel it best that you don't know the answer the attitude kid lovley boy gave me.

I almost added a woe betide and a lady jane to the end of the sentence but didn't want to sound like my mam

shabster · 17/03/2008 13:00

St Pats thing on google is good

We were working in an Irish bar in Greenford, Middlesex the day before our wedding! It was so busy that day - we finally made the long haul up to Bolton in the early hours of the 18th March. Got in my parents house about 7am and our wedding was at 11am!!

Ha Ha - Dotster and Harryster were pulling their hair out and woe betiding and lady janeing me for hours
