Hi y'all!

Hope you're all having splendid weekends - I went out dancing last night till midnight! Friend's wedding, aww bless the groom he was in tears saying his vows, my friend was sniggering, she did look pretty spectacular tho ... I had a fleck of dust in my eye too.

Felt good to squash my fat feet into pointy gold heels and give my ridiculous belly a shake a-like-a-polaroid-pickcha. Well DD-to-be-1 seems to have decided she quite likes the footling breech position tickling my bladder thank you very much, I figure a bit of dance-floor action might persuade her otherwise.

My PARENTS are coming over in a bit, this happens so seldom I am almost nervous about it. How ridiculous is that. They don't come see me very often, (like, once a year!) and was blubbing to best friend on the phone about it till she said 'oh get a grip, your parents love you, you're having a baby your hormones are all up the wall it'll be all better soon'. She's ace.

PMSL at Ruby's picnic
PMSL at Tomsters gay brown man ( he's a gay man now, Catherine Tate, cracks me up)

Triplets, don't know if its any consolation but my eldest DD is being a right PITA also. Same kind of attitude as yours at times. Drops the clothes in a bundle like they are poisonous, "they're dirty" I can't believe I said "we'll have less of attitude madam" IAMMYMOTHER!!! IT HAPPENED!

Pixi, here when you need us x.

Pinkfrog, Hyacinth (sp?) Bucket

Pazza, hope you are sitting on the couch neatly with your hair licked into place

TiggerMeJigs · 16/03/2008 15:39

oh we are poles apart FG

I just shouted at Molly 'watch yer gob lady' PMSL

triplets · 16/03/2008 15:46

Hiya Frumpy,
Supposed to be cooking, cannot concentrate on anything today, playing Rod Stewart very loudly atm, but haven`t the heart to sing today, feel strangely empty.Oh, cannot wait for this time to pass, my insided feel as though they are being turned inside out and screwed up in to a ball, need to laugh or cry and cannot do either! Even just played John Lennon singing Across the Universe, played and played that when Matthew died, but still no tears. Feel as though I am living outside of myself if that makes any sense? Will go and make a pudding, treat DH!

triplets · 16/03/2008 15:51

Got your message Frumpy xxxx

shabster · 16/03/2008 15:59

No sign of the gay brown man yet!! He has a large family still in this area - His dad liked several ladies and thought it would be nice for them to have his children Maybe he is trying to visit his way around them all.

Im just going to start watching my beloved Man City on tv so no doubt he will flounce in the door at any moment

triplets · 16/03/2008 16:01

Hello Shabby, hope they win for thee!

TiggerMeJigs · 16/03/2008 16:02

Triplets, sounds like its just a way of protecting yourself from everything that is so painful at the moment. Maybe you have just slipped into autopilot for a bit while you ride your rollercoaster. You know what it will probably be the tinest thing that will set you off, when you are ready to let go,like running out of milk or losing your keys. Sending you lots of hugs.x.x.

Tomster!! You have made me one very happy Tigger!!! How do you expect me to wait four days though? I am bouncing around dying to know what it is (bit scared of what your mum has sent though).

I love gifts!!!!!!!

PazzaPlusTwo · 16/03/2008 16:17

My parents are late!

And they don't even have twins or triplets ...

(just two overgrown teenagers to look after )

shabster · 16/03/2008 16:25

Still no sign - perhaps there is a Mardi Gras going on in Bolton town center and he has got caught up in it (I have a funny feeling that was not very pc!!)

Tigs - the mighty tomster sent you both of the eggs - he only found out he could put his name on after he sent the first one!! Wont tell me what he's sent - probably an engagement ring.

Trips my lovley, lovley mucker - thanks for your e mail love - I wish I could make the sunshine for you. Always here for you and always will be xxx

shabster · 16/03/2008 16:27

Just sniggered to myself at my last post!

Mardi Gras in Bolton - ha ha - there would be enough material in that for 10 series of Pheonix Nights and at least two new live shows for Peter Kay.

TiggerMeJigs · 16/03/2008 16:51

Shabs!! Have you not seen my Mardi Gras photos on FB? they were taken in Manchester

I shall send you some Mardi Gras beads on FB!!! LOL

Bless Tom!!

PazzaPlusTwo · 16/03/2008 16:56

shabster · 16/03/2008 17:05

AwPazz - this is his first romance - awww with an older lady

that tigs vagabond, better not break his heart I will have to teach him sad songs to sing with a hairbrush into his mirror - ready for the day when his first love says 'Oi Tomster you're chucked'.

Rubester - Oh yes I read through all the postings Dont worry - the only time I worry about posts on here is when I have sent one whilst drunk under the influence.

No sign of the said young man - he probably has been on Mumsnet reading all my stuff and thinking 'oh no thanks shabster' Think though that he is here for a few days so we will catch up.

Tigs - tomster is used to the owd woman - think his love will grow as you get older
