Twins first birthday ideas...?

PLEASE help me you wise and experienced twin mothers - what on earth can I do for their 1st birthday?!

To give you an idea of scale, for DD's 1st, we did an "Under the Sea" party - invited a few cousins to the house and I did my own decorations so it all looked underwater with crepe paper and string nets and fish.
This will be at home too.

Hi- the advice I was given was get it video-ed (harder 16 yrs ago, not many people had a video camera) but so worth it as that year just passes in a blur, and it's lovely to look back on. We had a hall in a community centre, invited everyone to come (bringing a contribution) we had some songs, pass the parcel for older ones, very laid back but nice. Hope you have fun!

good question bibi - but surely there are 1 yet if they are that has gone fast

mine are a year old at the end of March - so will watch with interest

Not one until July, I'm just aware that these days it takes me 3 times as long to plan anything so thinking ahead!

I have to at least try. Have been shockingly disorganised in most things since the girls were born. I don't want it to be a week before their birthday and the party bits to still be at the shop!
