Will I regret having 3rd baby?

Hi,

I have just found out I am pregnant with my third child. I already have 2 boys who are 3 & 5. I’ve always thought I wanted another baby but now it’s happened ( Wasn’t planned ) I’m kind of freaking out. Will I cope? How will I manage? Will I regret it? By the time baby comes my sons will both be in full time education so I guess that will make it easier but I’m scared. Has Anybody got any advice?

You'll be fine OP. My beautiful DC3 is now 6 months old and my older two are 9 and 7. She was planned, however we did have many discussions around our older DC and how it may impact them, our life, we like to travel etc but in all honesty she's fit straight in. It's as if she's alwyas been here and the older DC absolutely love her.

You’ll get. 50/50 reply.

I’ve got 3 boys, planned pregnancies, so wouldn’t change that. But, it was hard when they were little. However, they’re all adults now and I love having a slightly bigger family.

I’m sure you’ll love your third child as much as your other two and won’t regret your decision.

congratulations.

If you're already pregnant and would like a third DC then yes, go for it. I couldn't abort a DC I wanted.

I personally wouldn't as I've always wanted two so if I some how got pregnant whilst on contraception then I wouldn't keep it.
It sounds like something you have thought about though so that makes it trickier, only you and your partner can decide. There's no right or wrong so you shouldn't feel pressure to decide either way.
