Compact double strollers

We have 8 month old twins (whom are very small for their age). We currently have a bugaboo donkey and love it. But looking at getting a stroller type pushchair as well specifically for our holiday to Italy. I am trying to find out which double stroller folds the smallest. I think it might be the mountain buggy duo nano. Anyone got any reviews of this? Specifically its fold and how it manages the uneven terrain we will encounter in Italy. Or does anyone know of any that folds smaller?

The baby jogger gt 2 folds in half the same. But has larger wheels for off road. In terms of folding for travel and car it probably takes up the same space.

Oh I researched this in quite a bit of detail about a year ago when we were expecting 2 under 2. The Mountain Buggy Nano Duo is the smallest (or was at the time). Basically when it comes to tricky terrain it's fine on everything up to gravel. When you get to gravel or mud, only those massive wheels (e.g. on the Out n About) will work, so it depends what sort of activities you're planning in Italy. Shopping in Milan or visiting your bog standard tourist attractions, you should be fine. Climbing the Via Ferrata, probably not.

If there are two of you going, the alternative is to get two umbrella strollers and each push one twin; there's one for about £20 in Argos and it folds down to the size of a golf umbrella but the downside is it doesn't recline for naptimes.

Or buy two babyzen yo-yos, the car seat also fits on these

We have the MB Nano duo and use it for all our holidays - works on city roads/paved paths. It also lives in our car and is super handy for nursery runs, local trips out.

like you, our main buggy is the donkey.

Hey just wondering if anyone has a recommended buggy board to go with the MB nano duo??? Any that fit? Willing to buy anything - I have 3 under 3 and my 3 year old won't walk far!!

I'm not sure a buggy board would fit on this. I tend to put the 3 year old in the pushchair and carry one of the twins in a sling when the 3 year old tires
