I have the out n about double pram, it's very light, goes up & down so easily and is a dream to push, BUT it isn't compatible with any car seats. If you can live without this then that's the ideal choice.

A lot of other twin mums I know have the Mountain Buggy, which I think does have travel system compatibility.

If I had my time again I think I would have got 2 - one with a travel system, and then I'd have picked up at out n about second hand. My twins are 3 now and we've really had our moneys worth out of our out n about

Expecting twins here, my parter and I have bought a bugaboo, took ages to find one that was suitable! Worth the money as it goes up to 4 years of age! And you can make it smaller too!

I also have the bugaboo donkey 5 :)

Was worried it would be too bulky but have yet to find somewhere it doesn't fit!

Be cautious the carrycots take up boot space but I absolutely love it. I really wanted a side by side so I could see them both and it goes up to 4 years old. John Lewis sometimes have a baby event and offer 15% off

Mountain buggy is fantastic as is the mychild easy twin. This one fits through every single door and comes with car seats etc. half the weight of the bugaboo which looks amazing but looks so awkward to fold down!

Initially I had the twins in car seats attached to a Silver Cross Wave frame. I bought secondhand so I wasn’t spending a fortune.

By 6m they were too heavy for car seats so we moved over to an Out N About. Really great pushchair, lightweight, manoeuvrable, easy to fold.

I've got a donkey. They are big but it's the only one where they can face you for an extended period of time and be side by side. My twins are nearly 2 and I still use mine all the time.

I love prams and I've also got a second hand uppababy vista, which was great when I wanted to just clip the car seats on and go to playgroup etc with narrow doorways. I've got a city mini gt double too but my two prefer to face me so I haven't used this anywhere near as much as I did with my single version.
