Buggy for twins + 1

Hi, I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant with twins and have 2 other children (almost 2 and 4). I know it's early to start looking but I just want to explore my options.

My ds will be just under 2 1/2 by the time the twins are born. My dd was in the buggy for about a year after ds was born with a similar age gap - not all of the time but on long journeys and just to make life a bit easier.

We used the out and about double nipper for them but we weren't keen on using it when ds was tiny so probably would look for another option.

We're unsure on if we should buy a double buggy and use a buggy board or look into triple buggy's.

Can anyone suggest anything to us?

I used a double buggy (donkey) and a buggy board. Or put one twin in a sling and pushed the other and my 3 year old in the buggy if 3yo got tired.
Hard work sometimes but it's not for long.

@LeonardoDiwitchy thank you! What buggy board did you use and are there any slings that you'd suggest? x

The buggy board was a Lascal one and I used a couple of different slings. I think the easiest I had was a mother care one but they're not around anymore. There's lots to choose from so whichever suits you really. There's probably a lot more choice around now on Amazon etc. My twins are almost 4 now and their big brother is almost 7 so it's been a while since I had to do all the logistical work with buggy's and slings.
I also used a mountain buggy duet which the buggy board fitted and was a lot easier to use than the donkey.
I know you mentioned a triple buggy - but I can only imagine how heavy and hardwork that would be to push. And like I said - it wouldn't be for long, your 2 year old will probably enjoy being on the buggy board. Or even in the sling depending what way you do it!

@LeonardoDiwitchy thank you so much for your help! I will look into those options + some others x

Would a buggypod work?

Ibises a buggy board or sometimes she sat on the hood and held on to me, or sneakily snuggled into my coat when it was cold.

But she liked walking and didn’t want to sit in a push chair from 18 months. Depends on the child.

Double and a buggy board. I’m the opposite to you, DTs will be 2yrs and 4mo when baby arrives. I plan to have the baby in a sling.

@iRun2eatCake I'll have to look into that, haven't heard of it before
