Query about Child Benefit

Is child benefit for twins worked out separately? I have applied for my 9 week old twins, who are my only children. I've received confirmation of child benefit for one twin. Will I get a separate letter for twin two? I filled in the right paperwork.

I just want to check before I spend hours on the phone trying to speak to someone at the DWP.

I think we just got the one letter. Been 6 years though so I may be wrong

I only got one letter but it set out for both children.

Try logging into your government Gateway account, should show you what your Child Benefit entitlement is and whether they've got both dc names on it.

This happened to me! I rang them and explained and they sent me a new letter with the amount for both twins. I guess it might be a mistake their software is making. You have a certain amount of time to request they look at a potential correction so make sure you ring up before the deadline.
