Places to try out double buggies

Have been looking to get a double buggy/travel system for my future LOs. Any recommendations of shops you can actually go out and try them out. I know John Lewis have a couple but the choice of double travel systems is quite limited.

(I am in NW London/South Herts area but can drive)

Thanks

If you can wait until there's one on, we tried out quite a few at one of the baby shows.

Have you got a local twins club? You can get the best advice from twin parents themselves.

The most popular by far in our club is the mountain buggy duet, quickly followed by the out n about double. I personally had the egg tandem as I had issues getting doubles through out front door.

Good luck

@coffeeneeded what is a twins club? How do I find it? Can I join if still pregnant?

@abitmuch45 are they running these days with covid etc

Natural baby shower is probably worth a visit. It’s in Surrey so a bit of a drive but is large. If you email beforehand I’m sure they will tell you what exactly they currently have in store. But you can look online to see what they sell.

I would recommend you become a member of twins trust. It's a great resource and you get money off shops, holidays and days out.

Twins trust can also help guide you through you pregnancy and learn what the nhs should be giving you.

Also try and search for local Facebook groups

I'd recommend A3 Baby Barn in Esher, if that's not too far for you to travel. They were amazingly helpful when we needed to try out double pushchairs a few months ago, and they were not pushy about making any purchases. They had a few different types to try out, and we ended up buying a mountain buggy model there and then.
