Hi, I am pregnant with twins and have a daughter who will be 2 years and 4 months when they are born. I need a pram/pushchair I don't know but one that takes the twins from birth and a seat or ride along attachment for our toddler. Need to get through doors and not too heavy would be nice!! I have read reviews but have got really confused would appreciate some advice please

Same age gap here - but my twins are 16 months now. Wouldn't necessarily recommend the pushchairs I have, but some general tips:

  • The ability to swap out one of the bassinets for a seat is useful. When I had newborns, the easiest way to get out of the house was toddler + one baby in the pushchair and the other baby in a sling

  • So is the ability to add a buggy board (Lascal Maxi is a good one and works with most pushchairs) - that was the only way I could get out of the house alone with all 3 of them once the twins got too big for the sling (I'm only 5"1, so that happened fairly quickly!)

  • Although tandems are easier to fit through doors, the side-by-side ones are much lighter and easier to manoeuvre. I have a tandem travel system and a side-by-side umbrella stroller - if I was buying now, I'd go for a side-by-side travel system instead

Definitely recommend Out N About. There's space at the front for a third one to sit and I would second the advice about a buggy board.
