Pre school bags

Hi all

What did people do or are your opinions on sharing Pre school bags?

Twins are starting Pre school age 2, what's everyone's thoughts on a bag with all the spare clothes gubbins etc

One each or share??

The only reason I ask is I am having a huge clear out and have the perfect bag and bags if they are sharing or taking their own I'm getting rid of the other(s)!

Do they share enough already? They will need a bag for school each so start now? Does two bags just mean one more bag to carry? What's the point in them having two identical bags - which they are (a gift can I add!!) would they feel different only having a lunchbox when everyone else has a backpack and a lunchbox? etc etc...

Thankyou :)

Bag each. With their own spare clothes etc in. They may end up being different sizes, one might go through more than the other and then there's no clothes left when the other needs them. If the bags are sized right, they can carry their own which gives them a sense of responsibility.

Twins are often lumped together or expected to share so set the precedent that they are individuals young.

Mine are boy/girl and when little were put together to share things when other children were not. Eg one gift book sent home as they 'ran out of copies', sharing a tray when another preschooler started as there were no spare trays. Being lumped together for parents evening even though they have vastly different abilities (soon sorted that one by booking on separate days/or with a 20 minute gap).
