Second pregnancy

Out of curiosity, I got my BFF the other day. I'm only 4 weeks so it's early. This is my second.

My question is to anyone who had twins in their second pregnancy, did you notice a difference early on in ur pregnancy? Did you just know you were having twins? Did you have any strange symptoms?

Congratulations on your BFP!

My second pregnancy actually began as triplets (sadly lost one of them around 6 weeks) and for me, there was no indication of a multiples pregnancy whatsoever. I got my BFP on the same day as my singleton pregnancy (11DPO), the line was the same strength, and when symptoms started they were actually milder than the first time around (the entire pregnancy ended up being easier, in fact!)

Yep. Much much sicker, to the point I said to DH: there must be 2 in there to make me so sick. Bump appeared much earlier but that could just be second pregnancies for you.

Do you suspect you might be having twins?

My third baby were boy/girl twins. Didn't feel anything less or more at first, I don't think I'd even missed my period though by the time the test showed up clear as day. I was not sick once with the twins, unlike with my girls. The heartburn was a killer though!

Wasn't remotely surprised when I saw dts on the ultrasound screen, dh about died.

Thanks ladies. I just have a feeling. I got a strong bfp early and I'm exhausted earlier than I should be in pregnancy. I've been having dreams since my bfp of twins. I just have a feeling.

@PowerslidePanda
I'm sorry that you lost one. ❤️ how interesting that you found the pregnancy and symptoms easier! Wow

@isurvived3under2 that's exactly how I imagine being pregnant with twins. I just have a feeling. ❤️

@TheCanyon it's so interesting how every one is so different. I think my husband would die too 😂

My nausea was worse with the twin pregnancy, but still not terrible and I could eat plain foods. Just put it down to a different pregnancy.

I had night sweats and light spotting too. The symptoms eased off quickly around 9/10 weeks. I actually thought I might have MC when I had my first scan, definitely wasn’t expecting two!
