Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

CONGRATULATIONS ESTAR! Welcome to the world Levi

Momma, you sound like you're doing fantastically well with your duo Well done.

FG - Good to have you back, I'm afraid I'm having a wobble of my own now doesn't happen very often, but every once in a while...

Went for an ultrasound on Thursday afternoon, and it showed that dt1 had stopped growing. I've been told that if she doesn't show a good pattern of growth by the next scan, we will have to think about delivering them by c-section at around 32weeks.

I'm feeling like I've failed these babies I know that's ridiculous, but I can't help it...it's been so hard to be happy, smiley, fun mommy in front of dc. I broke down completely last night after dc had gone to bed, I just felt completely overwhelmed by everything...poor dh didn't know what to do with me! I'm not usually like this. I need to pull myself together and get ready for these babies.

Hope you're all well... I'll try to post properly some time soon - when I'm not just venting my emotions, sorry about that! I'm off to bed now, hopefully I'll feel better in the morning... Night all.

CAT I had similar situation, but at 34 weeks - DT1 had stopped growing, I was due back in at 35+1 with a view to induction/CS but went into spontaneous labour bang on 35 weeks. DTs were fine, but I felt very guilty as we had just moved house and I'd done loads of sorting that I probably shouldn't have done . Try not to panic, the more relaxed you are the happier they will be.

YOU HAVEN'T FAILED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop that train of thought this instant I forbid it! Catergorically forbid it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now let's wait and see what DT1 does. Probably have a lovely growth spurt just now. Look after yourself and trust darling. I'll be praying and thinking about the DTs a lot (and you!).

Momma............

C.A.T. I had a nightmare at scans during my DTs pregnancy. First DT1 stopped growing, then at the next scan she had caught up and DT2 had stopped and so on it went each week. It was literally as though towards the last few months they took it in turns to grow. Try not to worry too much, you have not failed them, and hopefully it'll be nothing more then a bad scan.

piximonster · 28/10/2007 14:40

Mars sorry to hear about your make-up. DS1 did a similar thing a while back, he thought it would be nice to make up DD1. Unfortunately they didn't end there, they also used all the really expensive Elemis capsules I got for Xmas (squeezed them on their rug) along with my other "saving for a special day" stuff. He told me he was experimenting to see what floated and what sank by pouring it all down the sink.

No afraid not Inspector Morse!!!!!PMSL

Mine are nearly five,no buggys any more.

Your so close now!!!!!!

Look out for stressed mum,DH with a shaved Grant Mitchell cut,one kid crying, one kid dancing and one kid moaning!!! That's us!!

Oh and look out for my new boots!!!! Rocket Dog ones arrived in two different colours so sent them back, next pair were marked and the following ones were too!! So changed my mind and brought a cheap pair of ugg rip offs and a pair of Love Label black heeled boots with buckles up the side. Very Fergie, but sadly I couldn't by her figure to go with them!!!!

TaT, failed????? No way honeybunch!!! You are overwhelmed with the prospect of what is coming darling and that is totally, totally normal. I cried for heaps of my pg with DD1 as I just didn't have any feeling that I was going to be able to do this mothering malarkey. (ooh )

Anyway what I mean is that, whilst you are the oven, you are in no way responsible for the growth of your darling babes. They are fighting for space in there and its very likely that one is taking up more space than is comfortable for the other. Thats all. Not you. Uh uh. No way. You need to have your moment and cry and let it settle. Then you will come back in here and let us pick you up again. These babies will be gorgeous and healthy xxxxxxx.

Estar!!! Congratulations!! come inside, sit down LG&T made soup, I'll get you some in a warmed bowl. Nestle Levi in there and I'll cocoon you both in the cashmere throw. How fantastic. Hope you have some babymooning time....... Well done sweetheart, I'm chuffed for you.

frumpystumpy · 28/10/2007 18:05

Levi is a heavenly name btw!

oooggs · 28/10/2007 19:22

hi all - nearly made it to Exeter yesterday but the trains from Plymouth were cancelled and going somewhere by train was the aim of the day - maybe next time

T&T - not failing, you have no control over them inside - dt1 must be male

Leoladyofleisure · 28/10/2007 19:23

Congratulations Estar!!!!! Wow, the birth sounds amazing and a very lovely name!

So, its been quite busy here again the last few days!!!!

So I'll just drop in and say hello (apart from quick search for Estar's news )!

Have a bad cold and felt really rough today, I shut myself in the bedroom, slept for hours and left dh to look after the 3 dcs on his own! Poor thing needs a little more practice ! I really should go out more and leave him to it !

Saturday dh went shopping, i was home alone with the 3 kids, feeling ill so not my most patient. Had all 3 screaming (had just lost my temper wiht ds1 ) and was trying to give them all lunch. Door bell rang and a guy who was disabled in a accident was trying to sell cards! Poor guy, it was bad timing, I was prepared to give him a couple of quid but he wanted 51.80chf for about 5 cards (thats about £22), and I think before I hand over that much money! He started to winge and beg but it was no comparison to my 3 screaming dcs! I've been feeling guilty ever since that I shut the door in his face, I also think I yelled at him as well ... well the dts were sitting unattended in their high chairs!

Leoladyofleisure · 28/10/2007 19:24

I don't like this new paging thing they have put on here!

triplets · 28/10/2007 19:57

Tripletsandtwins.............how can you have failed them when all you are giving them is love! At 30 weeks one of my trio had really slowed down, they said they would deliver at 32 weeks if things didn`t change, thats what happened, a 4.3oz a 4.7oz and a 2.15oz, he took a feed immediatley and within 4 weeks was only 8oz lighter than the other two! He and Thomas are now exactly the same height and weight, Rebecca is a little shorter and weighs more! I think we are lucky to have these scans, no way are you a failure!

Harrogatemum · 28/10/2007 20:53

Oh man, I dont know what is going on here anymore! I dont have the time to catch up with everyone!!

Hope all ok!!

Hi

I have just got told about your thread. I am due triplets May 08 but they will probably come in March. I'm about as big already at 11wks as i was at 20wks with dd.
This will make 5 under 5 as dd will be 4 at end of March and ds will be 2 at xmas. We will be a very busy house all going well.

We are in Auckland NZ, moved from London in Aug 05. I am sure I will be asking a million and one questions over the coming months so I can try to learn from what you have all gone through already.
