Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

em, the one about the cool kids etc. Sort of hit home a bit, because ds1 is having a hard time at the moment, his sn means that he is having trouble fitting in with the cool kids. I did post on there somewhere, but didn't read the whole thread so not sure if you were on it or not.

Harrogatemum · 18/10/2007 20:02

Kelly - I know the one you mean - I read it too and it upset me a bit - one of my DTs has ginger hair and has already had rubbish shouted at him in the street by older kids, and he is 2 FFS so it struck a chord with me too.

oooggs · 18/10/2007 20:33

Chopster, H.M. really sorry that you were both upset. I wasn't on that thread and can't find it either.

I know that skerry really is a nice person and someone that I chat to on quite a regular basis. I think that sometimes she writes on how she feels at that moment in time and just gets it all out in one go,I met her on another thread and once she realises how sometimes things come across differently than she meant them to,she is very concerned and willing to put her hands up and say I should have written it better than I did. I know she would honestly be upset if she had realised that she had offended you both, or any of the multiple mums in fact as she likes everyone.
i know that she has been writting very emotionally at the moment,as I'm sure she won't mind me saying, but she has been having a lot of trouble concerning her son, in fact he got beaten up today, by, I think the person the thread was about.
Oh dear I hate problems I'm off to see if I can find her now.
Cheerio guys

TrickORTripletEm · 18/10/2007 20:44

Hi girls, no peace to post I'm afraid. Sending you love Triplets, hope today was ok (you'll be exhausted). I know there is no 'right' answer for you but at least this would give you a point to go forward from. Sleep well triplets xxx.

Harrogatemum · 18/10/2007 21:17

Skerry and TOTEm - I was only pointing out that I already worry about one of my beautiful DTs being the butt of peoples jokes due to the colour of his hair and the fact aht some kids are "different" shouldnt mean they cant have friends.

But of course I am devastated for you Skerrysmum that your child was beaten up today and cannot begin to imagine how you are feeling and how I would handle this myself. Hugs to you.

TrickORTripletEm · 18/10/2007 21:37

H.M
Oh she is having such a bad day!!She popped over earlier and thought no one liked her,so she did a thread and everyone started getting really nasty with her.

F.S I am going to explode if you do not tell me about your adventure and it won't be a pretty sight as I have just eaten KFC!!

Parents evening went well, kids are being good. They have to learn forty words in the next six months,is that normal?

Triplets.x.

Hi all,
Its good news, Harrys tests were clear, no sign of any SDS, meaning that we could not have passed anything on to Matthew and that our trio have not inherited anything. Having said that he said from his point of view its an unsatisfactory outcome as he cannot give us an explanation as to why Matthew died, and so has said just as a precaution he will screen all three next year, if he finds nothing then he feels thats as far as we should go. I should be feeling relieved, but we spent 6 hours in the same unit as another couple, she was there for the same reason as us. Her 26yr old daughter collapsed and died in March, no medical explanation. She had three very young children. She was Claires daughter from her first marriage, she was there today with her second husband and they have 4 children under the age of 11. They are also looking after the three grandchildren until thier SIL can move nearer to them. She went in for an ecg and was a very long time, then whilst Harry was having the risky sodium test done she was having an exercise ecg, she was a very long time. Finally she appeared, laughung because she said she nearly walked off of the machine. Dr Sharma came out and said she need not do the sodium test, and took them into his office. Harry still hasnt come out and I am getting worried when Claire and her husband come out in tears. They diagnozed Long Q T syndrome, hereditary cause of sudden death. I was absolutely devastated for her. All 7 children have to be screened immediatley, no swimming or strenuous exercise etc until they get some results, very very scary. Poor poor woman, crying that her lovely daughter had died thru an hereditary condition that she had unknowingly passed on ,how awful. If only she had had an ecg at some point she could still have been here. So although I am relieved, I feel abit saddened tonight for them all. Thank you all for all your hugs, thoughts and support, I must now start looking forward................not back!

triplets · 18/10/2007 22:55

By the way, have I missed the point or joke here? WHO IS COD? Also abit of totaly useless trivia just noticed that we have already filled 565 messages on this thread since the 5th Oct, could we be in the Guiness Book of Records?

tripletsandtwins · 18/10/2007 22:56

How sad for her triplets , I teared up just reading it; but that's wonderful news for you!

I hope this is a turning point in your life, and that everything gets better for you from now and that everything remains fine for you and your lovely trio I was thinking about you all day. xxx

tripletsandtwins · 18/10/2007 22:57

I have no idea who cod is! Perhaps someone will soon be on to enlighten us triplets!

We should definitely be in the book of records!

triplets · 18/10/2007 23:01

Oh thank you lovely triplet mum, I am hoping to sleep better tonight, butterflies have all gone and no wine needed!

triplets · 18/10/2007 23:04

Just wanted to say what beautiful children you have, whereabouts in the sunshine state do you live, I`m nosy?

tripletsandtwins · 18/10/2007 23:14

We're in Palm Beach County, but hoping to move soon! We need a bigger house!

triplets · 18/10/2007 23:26

Is that near Fort Lauderdale? We have had two wonderful holidays in your lovely state, guess where? Yep, Orlando and Anna Maria Island which was bliss. Thinking of going back late next year but we need to move house to, same reason as you, more room! Where would you say would be a nice beach resort, old Florida style?

tripletsandtwins · 18/10/2007 23:59

Yes, it's about 1hr from Fort Lauderdale.

We love the area around Boca Grande and Gasparilla Island, they're one a kind places The island is old florida style, the beach at the Boca Grande lighthouse is fab. There isn't much fancy shopping, arts or restaurant there, but they're great for a relaxing time. palmisland.com/

Anna Maria Island (north of sarasota on the west coast) is also good for Old Florida, no high rise buildings, no chain restaurants, friendly locals. It has erything from upscale resorts, to old-Florida inns, terrific restaurants, walking paths, nature preserves, a small aquarium, and a fun shopping area. Then there are the beaches .

That's all I can think of at the moment, I'll look into it for you

tripletsandtwins · 19/10/2007 00:02

Driftwood Resort is also a nice place to stay on Vero Beach, I think...but it's had very mixed reviews...

tripletsandtwins · 19/10/2007 00:03

Just realised you've already been to anna marie island fabulous isn't it?

triplets · 19/10/2007 00:04

Thanks................off to bed, just gone midnight. its been a long day and I`m hoping to crash! Night night!
