seats for feeding

My dt's are getting too mobile for their bouncy chairs (which i use for feeding) as they are beginning to try and sit. Has anyone got any advice on what I can use next? The girls are 'petit' as were very prem, so size could be an issue for high chairs etc. We also don't have much space at all, so needs to be easy to put away/ compact! Any suggestions?

You can get high chairs which have different positions for different stage babies. Don't know the makes of any, cos I'm well past the baby stage.

My DTs are tiny prems and I really struggled to find highchairs that supported them. The ones I tried in mothercare were ridiculous - they were either pinned back like rag dolls or falling out the leg hole!

The best I found are the IKEA ones - cheap (a tenner) and you can buy an inflatable cushion that supports them on the sides. Only problem is they have a large footprint and don't fold, so not so good for a small space. The inflatable cushion might be useful though to put in a different chair? I think they were about a quid - mine still using them as a backrest at 16 months!

Mine loved their bumbos but when I started weaning they were still so wobbly that it never really worked. My friend successfully weaned her twins in them - worth a go if they can sit up. They are wipe clean so something I would buy second hand off eBay. Bought mine new at over £50 which is mad looking back!

I've had a look on ebay- going for about £30, and they're that new! Not sure if they're worth it, as the girls will be in high chairs before too long. Decisions decisions!
