No one around? Oh well, I am sitting here trying to think of Christmas, determined to start early, to spread the cost. Haven`t got a clue, so wil l look to you clever inspirational lot to come up with some ideas, boys and girls, 9/10yrs. Yes, I know, but somebody has to start a Christmas thread!

frumpygrumpy · 06/09/2007 09:44

no time to post properly atm, just sending love triplets xxxx

menageriekeeper · 06/09/2007 13:13

Triplets, I've managed to stop the nighttime shenanigans with my boys. I have the kids on a points system. They earn 10 points for doing jobs, going to bed without messing about, getting ready well in the morning etc. I deduct 5 if they misbehave. At the end of the week, the child with the most points gets a comic to go with their Friday sweets. It's been really effective, and I even get them offering to wash up or hoover. Their behaviour has improved a LOT.

Huge congratulations to Mommalove...hope you're not too sore after the CS. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your lovely babies.

piximon · 06/09/2007 15:01

Triplets-Just scanning and noticed you'll be coming to Lewisham soon, if you fancy stopping off for a cuppa on your way past (although not sure you'll be coming past but it's not that far)let me know.

We're putting our place on the market this Sat so been trying to get all the jobs finished before then. (half finished kitchen, every room to paint, flooring to varnish, new fence etc)..

Oh and I'm now about 10 weeks pg, (although only told DH and GP), look like a whale and can't stop eating do we want to start placing bets?

piximon · 06/09/2007 15:02

Ooooooooooooooo.......

So excited for you and can't believe you're back on here already. I couldn't string a sentance together a week after having mine, nevermind typing after two days!

Are the babies home too, or just you? They were good weights, weren't they? And you have one of each - I love all of my boys to pieces, but it must be so exciting to have a little girl too sniff. Soooooooooooooooooooo happy for you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

estar · 06/09/2007 21:03

Hang on...... Piximon, is this number five? In five years? (Or potentially five and six if your suspicions are correct?)

frumpygrumpy · 06/09/2007 21:05

Oh momma!!! How fantastic!!!

Keep these days in your heart, take photos galore, it gets so busy with DTs that sometimes you forget to take photos. Such lovely weights and I hope you get a little sleep since you've cracked tandem feeding. Don't rush out of that bed. Do what Mars says - babymoon!

How exciting. I adore those names

frumpygrumpy · 06/09/2007 21:08

OH MY GOD PIXIMON

estar, thanks for claryfying, its just sunk in for me!

Well, congratulations!!!

"my, you'll have your hands full"
"are there twins in your family?"
"get a telly love"

frumpygrumpy · 06/09/2007 21:10

I'm actually a bit peed off this evening. DP is being an arse and my DD1 had an upset at school today (with the teacher).

She is such a sensitive soul, does everything by the book, and already has very tearful, distressing sleep walks many nights of the week (I think due to thinking about too much before she falls asleep, she is a worrier), that she doesn't need this too.

estar · 06/09/2007 21:25

FG, I can offer you toffee popcorn and a cuppa but that's all I've got in

If I let you tidy my house? Will that make you feel better?

(and at least your dd has a mummy who understands her and can help her put these things into perspective)

frumpygrumpy · 06/09/2007 22:25

kinds words estar, thank you. Ach, go on then, I'll eat popcorn and hoover

Piximon how are you feeling? Huge congratulations to you, i love big families Just wear a badge answering all those irritating questions that are bound to come up. I may get one printed for my next pregnancy, seriously.

Hello everyone else > I have become a facebook junkie, someone pet my Bluebit, Linus...

largeginandtonic · 06/09/2007 22:34

Oh FG your poor wee girlie, i have a friend with a deep thinker and often troubled soul. I love him he is excellent company and has me in stitches alot of the time, sure he has been here before, wise beyond his years.

Mommalove im cooing over your gorgeous twosome, just called DH over to have a look

MarsLady · 07/09/2007 02:12

Momma...........they are gorgeously gorgeously gorgeous!

I'm so glad you don't live near me. I'd steal them (or swap them for mine!) lol Glad you've cracked the rugby hold! Well done. As I said........call if you need me!

Hey all. Just home from Salsa.

Oh............ I won a prize today. Not here on MN. Never win on here. The local foot carver was 1 a couple of weeks ago and so they decided to have a prize draw. I popped in to say hi to the foot carver's wife whilst waiting for the bus and popped my name in the box. And I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now ... if I could just win some Jo Malone......

LG&T.... all I have to say (re teens) is .... internet porn, whiplash! Not necessarily at the same time! lol

largeginandtonic · 07/09/2007 09:30

Ohmigod Mars!!! What the heck do you do? Teach them to delete the history so im none the wiser sounds like a good option to me

DH 'teaches' them all sorts of tricks regards to hiding messy rooms, dirty clothes etc.. "shut your wardrobe so she cant see the mess you have squished inside" is one of his little tips. Sure there are many more i dont know about, ignorance is bliss i say

Momma can i borrow one? They are just so sweet, you lucky thing.

chopster · 07/09/2007 09:34

Mommalove, they are adorable. So small! Big congratulations to you all.

I'm off out for the day again. I was very brave yesterdya and took the boys swimming! I've never taken them here before, mainly cos I was scared of taking them both on my own. They loved it. It was great for tiring them out too, poor shay could barely stand by bedtime.

chopster · 07/09/2007 09:35

oh and largegin, if I did know your real name I've forgotten it, but I'm on facebook, add me!

MarsLady · 07/09/2007 09:58

What you do LG&T and tell them that they are not allowed to (now........... should I say this on the innocent Multiples thread?).... .... play with yourself where your sister has to sit. And a whole host of other things that lets him know that whilst I know these things will happen and his hormones are raging I don't approve and nor do I wish to know about it. Oh I did tell him that in few years when it matters to him that most women can't do those things and the rest won't want to!

So.......... back to tinies I think! lol

largeginandtonic · 07/09/2007 10:01

Tinies indeed Mars....tinies indeed and we they think toilet duck is bad, pah!

Chopster willl look for you, you must pet my bluebit

MarsLady · 07/09/2007 10:01

FG.......... put the kettle on. We're expecting newbies! And don't forget to fluff the pillows!
