A cow sanctuary

I'm picturing some handsome beasts, wandering about with Ugg boots, carefully tied scarves and kaftans, chilling out, sharing a joint, safe in the knowledge there is a 10ft electric fence around them and no risk that a hunter is going to sniff them out and turn them into sausages

Glad you had a great day Kelly. How is your DS these days? Are you happy with his progress/support/diagnosis?

chopster · 03/09/2007 11:01

thanks for asking fg. We will see when he restarts school. There is a new headteacher adn senco, so I'm jsut hoping that they will be supportive. He is going to have an assessment for classroom support in the next week or two so we'll take it from there. But, he is doing absolutely great!

frumpygrumpy · 03/09/2007 11:02

Mommalove, just think of the relief once the c-section is over ! They will give you excellent drugs to help with any pain and you will be on your feet before you know it, each day will get easier. Stay on top of your pain medication and drink a lot of water -it easier to go to the bathroom. The anesthesiologist will be your best friend tomorrow, make sure he/she takes good care of you. You may want to ask about a sleeping pill tonight, maybe around 8pm or so, so you are strong for tomorrow. See if it will be ok with the doctors.

Good luck, I'll be praying for you and the little ones. I'm sure everything is going to be fine. It'll go fast and before you know it, 2 little ones will be here. How cute.

frumpygrumpy · 03/09/2007 16:34

Momma, thats fantastic!!! I remembered its tomorrow and wondered if you'd pop in afore ye went Wishing you all the very best.

When I was in labour with the DTs, and there were things happening that I didn't like (like having my waters broken), I concentrated hard on the photo of my DD1 that I'd taken along. It was one of her on holiday, her blonde curls blowing in a summer wind, her hand flicking away her curls and a huuuge smile on her face. I took the photo, I remembered the moment in detail, her posing, our chat and I focussed on her. I just have to look at that photo and I am smiling all over my heart. It was good to look at because it kept me focussed that I was having 2 more children whom I would love and adore as much as I had grown to love her.

Dig out a photo now. Shove it at eye level tomorrow and stay focussed on it. Know that every minute that passes we will be thinking about you and wishing you well.

Hurry back to us and fill us in. We'll keep the day bed free for you

Good luck sweetheart xxx

frumpygrumpy · 03/09/2007 16:38

Remember, when they arrive you might feel overjoyed to see them (if you are excited) and you might not (if you are feeling stressed and worn out with the event). Either way, its normal.

Harrogatemum · 03/09/2007 16:51

good luck mommalove - cant wait to hear details!

menageriekeeper · 03/09/2007 17:30

Good luck, Mommalove!

triplets · 03/09/2007 21:33

Try and enjoy tomorrow Mommalove, that may sound strange but my experience of having a c-section with my trio was wonderful, the theatre was full of staff who were all comedians and it was just a happy happy time, one I would love to repeat over again, mad I know!Hope you get a good nights sleep, and loads of love to you and yours xxxx

Overrun · 03/09/2007 21:36

Oh no, I'm too late...Hopefully Momma's in theatre by now! Looking forward to hearing her news.

Only another 15 mins of the holidays left...DTs off to pre-school this morning! Yippee

chopster · 04/09/2007 09:48

Oooh mommalove, hope everything is goign well for you! Bet she has them about lunchtime. A section is surrela, after two vaginal births, it was amazingly quiet and quick, and I did enjoy it. Only bit I hated was the dts being whizzed off with dp while I had to wait to be stitched up! Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope you are all home soon. xxxx

The kids are back at school Poor dd was clinging a bit - first day at juniors. Shoved them both through as quick as I could and now getting ready to take the boys to legoland.

frumpygrumpy · 04/09/2007 09:58

MarsLady · 04/09/2007 18:12

I got a text from Momma earlier.........but I was out and this is the first I've been at the computer.

Babies born at 10.41 and 10.43am today. Weighing a nice healthy 6lbs 2 and 6lbs 4. "Both are GORGEOUS and we are all doing great!"

sigh.......................

frumpygrumpy · 04/09/2007 18:41

YAHOO!!!!

I've been thinking about her all day but I couldn't get to a pc. Great weights! I'm thrilled Momma!!! So, what colour are they????? Pink? or Blue? Or Rainbow effect?

Yahoo!

Sends me back, it really does.
