Oyster max - from birth

Hi. I've been reading some conflicting info online so looking for any experience with the oyster max for twins from birth. The main seat is suitable from birth & we were told so is the second seat. However, looking online some reviews say you have to have the carry got to do this? Anyone got a clue?

Bit late but we had the oyster max and the bottom (2nd ) seat didn’t lay totally flat. We just used car seats inhtge puahchair but only ever done short ish journeys

We went with it in the end & bought an additional carry cot.
