Hi,

I will be 34 weeks pregnant with twins tomorrow. Both are breech and unlikely to turn now so I have been told most likely elective C section in week 37.
I finished work last week with grand plans to whizz through my to do list and get house and nursery ready for babies arrival.
However with each day I am more and more tired and spending lots of time snoozing on sofa...even though my hit list is still a mile long!
I am on 3 iron tablets a day and although iron levels slightly reduced at last consultant’s appointment I was not instructed to increase dosage.
Can anyone give me some advice on how to muster up energy and get nursery/house/hospital bags etc ready.
I am great at creating a spreadsheet...just recently don’t seem to be able to start working through it.
I have a child at primary school and drop him off in morning with grand plans for day, only to retreat to sofa or bed for most of day.
Any help to advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks x

I absolutely hated this advice when I was at the same stage, but if you have anyone that’s able to help, take them up on it! Maybe try to whittle your list down to the absolute minimum you’ll be happy with. Little and as often as I could do was what I did, but it wasn’t much. I’d defo pack your hospital bag as a priority, I’d packed mine but not properly, and ended up getting pre eclampsia and never finished it. Take it as easy as you can do, and good luck x

Sleep. Honestly, your body asks because it needs it and god knows you won't get another chance to for two or so years after they are born.

Don't do anything just sleep and watch tv/read/sit in silence/eat hot meals etc before they are here!
In all seriousness just do little bits they don't care what your house or their nursery looks like so don't stress over it!

Half of all twins are born before 36 weeks. Twin bumps tend to be the size of a full term bump at around 28 weeks. You did fantastically to work until 33 weeks.
Relax and rest. You have some really hard but rewarding work coming up.

Please rest and please ask for (or if you can afford it pay for help). Your body is doing an amazing thing!
