Twin pram easy jet flight

I'm due to fly with easy jet in the new year with my girls who'll be almost two. Struggling with what I should do about a pram. Our main pram is a mountain buggy duet which I don't intend to take but my options are either borrow the MIL's m+p kato or buy two cheap singles. I can't find any info on maximum allowable dimensions on easy jet ideally I'd like to keep the pram till the gate. Anyone had a similar scenario what did take?

2 cheap singles. Just as well as only one arrived and we had to buy another cheapie when we were there. Plus singles are so much easier to navigate.

if they'd lost my double pram It would have been a disaster.

Second vote for two cheap singles - and a buggy bag to put them in. I wouldn't take an expensive buggy on a flight having seen how ours got flung around

I took my Out and About Nipper with Easyjet with no problem. They let me use it right up to the plane where I had to collapse it and it was stowed.

God I don't know what to do! I'd prefer to take the double so he can deal with the bags and I can deal with the buggy no idea how we'd cope with multiple bags and buggies! Thanks for the replies though

When our girls were small we took two cheap singles and bought the wee clips that connected them so we could use them as a double when it was helpful (like in the airport), or singles when that was necessary. (Like in the narrow lanes and narrow shops in Barcelona's gothic quarter!)

I too would never have put out decent double (nipper out and about) on a plane - would have been lost without it in real life!
