Other than eBay, gumtree and Facebook is there anywhere else we can look for second hand double prams? Also is there any prams similar to the icandy where you can detach and attach the car seats from them? Like the look of them but cheapest I've found is £500 second hand which I don't think we can afford! Tearing my hair out already 😂

Hi again :-) I'm planning on getting a side by side as our main pushchair but I've just this afternoon won a baby jogger city select on eBay for £64 which is a tandem that takes two car seats. Just for trips to the shops in the car, etc. We found being able to click in the car seat so useful with DD.
If you look on the pushchair topic I started a thread there the other day about which tandem buggies take two car seats and there are quite a few listed.

Hey you! Asif you won one for £64 that is a bargain! That's what we're after I think, a travel system. A friend of a friend has offered to save her city jogger for us which includes everything for £600 but still a lot of money :( x

Ours isn't a travel system but we never found that a problem, just transferred them from car seat if out. We had the mountain buggy duet with carrycots for the first few months and also have the cosytoes for it. We loved it as it's narrow and light and we definitely wanted a side by side. We're looking to sell whole lot for £250. No idea how messaging works on here but can work it out if you have any questions or are interested. We're in south of England.

Try preloved or freeads there might be something there what sort of twin pram are you going for side by side or like Phil and tedd version it's been a while since my babies were small

Well, it seems we are just going to stalk your pregnancy dangle...

We are looking for an over under twin buggy because our front door and hallway are so narrow. Any ideas anyone...Confused

Baby jogger city select, oyster max, uppababy vista (the more recent models), a phil n teds (the Voyager looks most suitable for 2 of same age), various icandy (apple2pear, orange I believe).
The mountain buggy duet is just 63cm wide which should fit down even narrow hallways. (eg that's actually narrower than most of the ones I've named above!)
There's a good list of tandems on Bestbuggy

I've had a city select baby jogger since my twins were born. It had click in carry cots and car seats (britax) and, from six months, chairs. They are 2y and 8m and we still use it lots. They can face every combination of ways and there's plenty of space between them. It folds down very easily and fits in our car boot. It is a fantastic pram.

I was looking at someone trying to manage a side by side the other day and it looked so cumbersome. (Also had to borrow the Graco duet for a while and that was a horrible experience, but then it's a lot cheaper.) I really recommend getting to a shop where you can try them out a little. That (and recommendations from other twin parents) was what sold us.
