Does bump slow down!?!

I am 14.4, expecting non-identical twins, my bump has ballooned since my scan at 13 weeks, will it slow down or am I going to struggle getting through doirways pretty soon??!!😳😂

Nope. It will get enormous. I started showing at 16 weeks (first pregnancy). By 20 weeks I was very obviously pregnant. At 28 weeks my sister visited and said I looked blooming and beautiful. She saw me again at 34 weeks and her jaw dropped (I was measuring 48 weeks) and was enormous! I couldn't walk for long, my bump was heavy and the pelvic pain often reduced me to tears. Babies were born weighing 11lbs together plus a giant joined placenta weight 5.5lbs! The consultant performing the c section had to stand on a box as she couldnt see over my bump!

The night they were born was the best nights sleep I had had in months!

Wow!!! Thankyou for the scary info! This is my 4th pregnancy and my last baby was 10.3 - my bump was humungous then!

Sorry no it'll get absolutely huge, I think I was measuring about 58 weeks a week before my CS at 38 weeks. I was basically a planet.

Ummm.... No! I measured 56 weeks by fundal height at 35 weeks, I'm nearly 6ft and a size 16 but still. Friend said "omg that means you're like a great and a month pregnant" .

DT's came 3 days prior to planned section (presenting DT was a footling breech, the other transverse breech so emergency cs when my waters broke) at 37+5 weeks weighing 7lb 6 and 6lb 12. Physically the last couple of months of the pregnancy were the toughest thing I have ever done, I was a whale and chasing (ok, lumbering miserably) around after DS1 who turned two a month before the DT's arrived. Good luck.

I showed at 6 weeks (4th pregnancy) and by 28 weeks was bigger than all previous times. Imagine being huge then add some on to it 🙈

Haha, yes I guessed that, I read that with 1 baby you grow 1 cm per week from 20weeks, but how much with twins? Not double that?! I was absolutely massive with my last and he was 10 days over and 10.3 - I can't imagine being any bigger!!

re work, I stopped commuting at 22 weeks (had SPD) and worked from home until 34 weeks but even just sitting at a desk was too much by the end - I had a horrid pregnancy though, and I know that there are people who sail through, so maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones! My bump grew relentlessly but I cut out dairy in the 3rd tri as it was making me bloated, and that seemed to buy me a few weeks of not expanding ridiculously. But basically, yes, you'll get huge

No chance of working from home here.
I don't eat dairy, have to be careful what I eat due to ibs anyway but I still managed to get bloated in first trimester.

When I was induced at 37+6 with my dcda twins, my waist was 55". (7lbs5 & 6lbs4) I put on 50lbs total in my pregnancy. Lost it all now though! smug

I'm currently 32 weeks with twins and still working and looking after a preschooler. Still doing lots of walking etc. All the twin mums I've met so far are having really good pregnancies and everyone still working so far (well into third trimester). Don't panic!

I worked until 30 weeks (I was a child minder and was looking after 3 two year old boys). I worked 4 days a week 8am -6pm. It is possible
My babies were born at 34 weeks.
